"ABSTRAKArtikel ini membahas semangat n gritude dalam puisi Les Vautours, sebuah puisi yang berisi gambaran penderitaan ras kulit hitam ketika kolonialisme terjadi. Pada puisi ini ras kulit putih sebagai penjajah direpresentasikan dengan kesan negatif yang hanya memikirkan keuntungan, tanpa memikirkan penderitaan penduduk yang terjajah. Meskipun ras kulit hitam menderita, mereka tetap memiliki harapan akan kebebasan dan kemerdekaan serta semangat n gritude yang memperjuangkan hak dan menumbuhkan rasa bangga berkulit hitam. Penelitian artikel ini didasarkan pada studi kepustakaan dengan menggunakan teori analisis struktural menurut Michel P. Schmitt dan Alain Viala yang mencakup analisis makna puisi.

ABSTRACTThis article discusses about n gritudespiri on ldquo Les Vautours rdquo , a poem which describe the suffer felt by black race during colonialism. In this poem, white race as colonialist represented by negative impression that they only think about profit, without thinking the suffer felt by colonized population. Although black race suffered from colonialism conducted by white race, black race still own the hope of freedom and independence and also the spirit of n gritude which fight for black race rsquo s rights and grow a sense of pride to be black race. The research of this article based on literature study using theory of structural analysis by Michel P. Schmit and Alain Viala which includes analysis of the meaning of the poem."
