"ABSTRACTSkripsi ini merupakan penelitian terhadap naskah koleksi Perpustakaan Nasional Republik Indonesia yang berjudul Gita Suryalaga dengan nomor koleksi BR 657. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan suntingan teks supaya dipahami oleh masyarakat pada umumnya. Metode penelitian Filologi yang diterapkan pada naskah tersebut adalah Metode Naskah Tunggal dan disunting menggunakan edisi standar. Naskah ini merupakan cerita wayang yang menceritakan tentang seorang santri bernama Suryalaga yang berkelana dari tempatnya di pegunungan sampai ke negeri Cirebon. Teks pada naskah ini ditulis dalam bentuk macapat yang terdiri dari 14 pupuh, sedangkan metrum yang digunakan antara lain Sinom, Mijil, Kinanthi, Dhandhanggula, Asmaradana, dan Maskumambang.

ABSTRACTThis researchs focuses on PNRI (national library of indonesia) manuscript collection with a title Gita Suryalaga, manuscript collection number BR 657. The aim of this research is transliterating of Javanese letters manuscripts in to Latin letters in order to be understood by public in general. The critical method of phylology study that was applied on the manuscript is standart edition. This text is about wayang story that tells of a santri named Suryalaga who traveled from his place in the mountains to the land of Cirebon. The text form is macapat (traditional Javanese poem) that consists of fourteen stanzas, while poetic that used are namely Sinom, Mijil, Kinanthi, Dhandhanggula, Asmaradana, and Maskumambang."
