"ABSTRAK
Tesis ini membahas penerapan konsep museologi baru dan museum sejarah di
Museum Kebangkitan Nasional. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang bersifat
deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Tujuan penelitian ini
adalah menjadikan Museum Kebangkitan Nasional sebagai museum sejarah ideal
dan merumuskan konsep komunikasi yang tepat untuk memudahkan proses
penyampaian pesan. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengidentifikasikan bahwa Museum
Kebangkitan Nasional merupakan museum sejarah yang dalam pengelolaannya
belum menggunakan konsep museologi baru, karena belum menerapkan konsep
komunikasi timbal balik.

ABSTRACT
The object of this research was to discuss the application of the new museology
and the historical museum concepts. This research is a descriptive study which
used qualitative approach. The aim of the study is to perform ?National
Awakening Museum? as the ideal historical museum and formulate the
appropriate communication concept to facilitate the process of delivering
messages. The result of the research identified that National Awakening Museum
is a historical museum which its management has not used the new museology
concept, due to the fact of lacking the using of reciprocal communication concept."

"Among the more than 130,000 objects from Indonesia in the Dutch National Museum of World Cultures, many once belonged to or were used by the Chinese poplation of Indonesia. In the article, the author provide an overview of these collections by presenting their collecting histories from the earliest acquisitions to the most recent collections and by highlighting a number of object, which in their materials, techniques, motifs, colurs or function show a combination of elements from both Chinese and Indonesain cultures. The authors pay particular attention to objects which play a role in the Chinese-Indonesian wedding ceremony."

"ABSTRAK
Museum sebagai pusat informasi budaya, sudah seharusnya menjadi tempat yang menarik untuk didatangi. Untuk menjadikan museum ramai dikunjungi oleh wisatawan, tentu membutuhkan strategi untuk menarik wisatawan agar datang mengunjungi museum. Berbagai strategi yang dilakukan oleh museum diwujudkan dengan terselenggaranya berbagai program kegiatan yang menarik. Adalah Museum Nasional yang menjadi objek penelitian dalam karya ilmiah ini. Lewat slogan Goes to Museum, Museum Nasional menerapkan strategi dengan mengeluarkan berbagai program-program kegiatan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah melihat bagaimana implementasi dari slogan Goes to Museum yang diturunkan kedalam program kegiatan.

ABSTRACT
Museum as the center of cultural information, supposed to be a wonderful place to visit with. Strategy needed to attract tourists come over and visit the museum. Many strategies had been done by the museum, through the events. The object for this research is National Museum of Indonesia in Central Jakarta. The National Museum itself has a motto or tagline, Goes to Museum. Goes to museum represents the events in museum itself. The results from this research is to show to the readers that museum has strategies to attract tourists."

"[ABSTRAK
Museum Polri tidak hanya berperan memberikan pendidikan dan pengetahuan
kepada anggota Polri, namun juga bagi masyarakat terutama yang berhubungan
dengan persoalan-persoalan sosial, salah satunya yang berkaitan dengan
permasalahan narkoba yang semakin meningkat di masyarakat. Perkembangan di
Indonesia yang saat ini bukan hanya sebagai pasar dan tempat transit bagi
peredaran narkoba yang dilakukan oleh jaringan internasional tetapi sudah bisa
dikatakan mampu untuk memproduksi dalam memenuhi permintaan yang sangat
tinggi di dalam negeri, dan bahkan disinyalir mengekspor hasil produksi ke luar
negeri. Akan tetapi koleksi dan informasi mengenai narkoba saat ini dianggap
belum dapat mewujudkan edukasi bahaya penyalahgunaan narkoba karena
pameran yang ada belum menampilkan keseluruhan informasi dan pengetahuan
mengenai narkoba secara jelas dan utuh kepada masyarakat. Oleh karena itu
dibutuhkan konsep pengembangan ruang pameran pemahaman tentang narkoba
sebagai cara preventif dan pre-emtif selain dengan melakukan cara represif. Tesis
ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan menerapkan teori pendidikan
konstruktivis yang disesuaikan dengan perkembangan yang ada sehingga mampu
menciptakan ruang pameran yang melibatkan masyarakat secara aktif.

ABSTRACT
Indonesian National Police Museum not only serves in giving education and
knowledge to Policeman, but also for publics especially related to social issues.
One of the issues is narcotics and dangerous drugs. Today, Indonesia is not only
as a market place or transit point for international drug trafficking but also is able
to produce in order to meet the high demand in the country itself, and even
exports overseas. In Indonesian National Police Museum, the collection and
information about narcotics and dangerous drugs are not considered in delivering
the message and education of the abuse of narcotics and dangerous drugs because
the exhibition is not displaying the whole information and knowledge clearly
about narcotics and dangerous drugs to public. Hence, it needs to develop the
concept at the exhibition room for the understanding of narcotics and dangerous
drugs as a preventive and preemptive methods, beside the repressive method. This
study uses qualitative methods and applies constructivist education theory suited
with the existing condition in order to create exhibition room which engages the
public actively, Indonesian National Police Museum not only serves in giving education and

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana Museum Nasional Indonesia dapat menjalankan berbagai tugas dan fungsi di masa pandemi COVID-19 dengan memanfaatkan Virtual Tour sebagai alternatif. Selain itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Museum Nasional Indonesia merancang, merencanakan, dan mengimplementasikan Virtual Tour sebagai pengganti layanan kunjungan selama pandemi COVID-19. Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) yang merupakan metode yang digunakan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan teknologi multimedia dengan enam tahapan yaitu concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, dan distribution digunakan untuk mengetahui proses pembuatan Virtual Tour. . Selanjutnya, penelitian ini juga membahas bagaimana Museum Nasional Indonesia mempromosikan layanan Virtual Tour di masa pandemi COVID-19 dengan menerapkan unsur strategi bauran promosi yaitu humas dan pemasaran langsung.

This study discusses the National Museum of Indonesia Virtual Tour service as an alternative visit during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to identify how the National Museum of Indonesia can perform various tasks and functions during the COVID-19 pandemic by utilizing Virtual Tour as an alternative. In addition, this study was conducted to find out how the National Museum of Indonesia designs, plans, and implements a Virtual Tour as a substitute for visiting the services during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), which is a method used for designing and developing multimedia technology with six stages, namely concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution was used to find out the process of making a Virtual Tour. Furthermore, this study also discusses how the National Museum of Indonesia promotes Virtual Tour services during the COVID-19 pandemic by implementing elements of the promotional mix strategy, namely public relations and direct marketing."
