"Penelitian ini mengkaji karakteristik romantik yang ditemukan pada puisi-puisi romantik Korea pada tahun 1920-an. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan perkembangan aliran romantisisme di Korea persamaan dan perbedaan tema dan karakteristik pada penyair romantik Korea pada tahun 1920- an. Penelitian ini mengangkat tiga penyair yaitu Yi Sang Hwa, Han Yong Un, dan Kim So Wol. Dari masing-masing penulis diambil tiga karya yang mewakili gaya penulisan mereka. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pergeseran istilah romantisisme di Korea dapat disebabkan oleh perbedaan karakteristik dan tema dominan pada puisi-puisi romantik Korea. Hal ini berkaitan dengan faktor sejarah yakni keterbatasan ilmu modern yang diterima oleh masyarakat Korea atas kontrol ketat dari Jepang.

This research discusses the romantic characteristics found on Korean romantic poems from the 1920s. This research aims to describe the development of romanticism in Korea as well as the difference in theme and characteristics on Korean romantic poets of 1920s.

On this research three poets that are to be analyzed are Yi Sang Hwa, Han Yong Un, and Kim So Wol. From each poets, three works that represents their writing styles will be discussed. Qualitative method is applied on this research.

The result of this research shows that the shift in the term romantisicm in Korea could be caused by the difference in characteristics and dominant themes of Korean romantic poems. This relates to the historical factor that there is a modern knowledge limitations imposed by the strict control of Japan."

"Penelitian ini menganalisis puisi Yun Dong-ju 1917-1945 dalam buku kumpulan puisinya, Haneulgwa Baramgwa Byeolgwa Si, ldquo;Langit, Angin, Bintang, dan Puisi rdquo; . Makna yang terkandung dalam puisi diperoleh melalui analisis intrinsik dan dilanjutkan dengan analisis ekstrinsik yang menggunakan sosiologi sastra sebagai pendekatannya. Penulis menjabarkan keterkaitan makna puisi dengan latar belakang dibuatnya karya tersebut. Pendekatan sosiologi sastra digunakan untuk membuktikan bahwa puisi karya Yun Dong-ju, sebagai dokumen sosial, mampu merefleksikan situasi sosial ketika karya tersebut dibuat, seperi kebijakan pemerintah Jepang, pandangan penganut Kristen mengenai Tuhan, dan harapan orang Korea akan kemerdekaan.

This research analyze Yun Dong ju 1917 1945's poetry in his poetry collection book, Haneulgwa Baramgwa Byeolgwa Si, ldquo Sky, Wind, Star, and Poetry rdquo . The meaning of poetry gained through intrinsic analysis and extrinsic analysis followed by using the sociology literature as its approach. Writer is verified the interrelatedness between the meaning of poetry and the background when the poetry was composed. Sociology literature approach used to prove Yun Dong ju's poetry as social document able to reflect the social situation, such as Japanese rule policy, God in Christian's view, and Korean's hope for independent."
