"The core of the document, and indeed its main purpose, is to set down the benchmark for passing the part 1, 2, and 3 examinantion in architecture as adninistered by RIBA.For this reason we have expanded the document to give more of the flavour and atmosphere of architectural education and actual student work, in the hope that both aspirations and spirits will be raised. The publication can therefore be consulted as a reference document in which the key criteria are boldly idenfied, but it can also be read as testament or snapshot of architectural education in the fitst years of this 21st century."
