"Dalam arsitektur grid banyak menjadi dasar untuk memberi bentuk, dimensi, dan susunan dalam skala interior maupun eksterior. Selain fungsi yang mewujud grid juga dapat digunakan sebagai proses yang memberi kerangka pada rancangan. Dengan memelajari grid dalam proses merancang Le Corbusier dan Peter Eisenman, dapat terlihat peran grid dalam praktek arsitektur dan arsitektur interior. Penggayaan dan konsep merancang dari masing-masing arsitek tersebut memengaruhi bagaimana grid diaplikasikan ke dalam rancangan. Terdapat dua realitas penggunaan grid yang bertolak belakang dari kedua arsitek. Le Corbusier menginginkan keteraturan dalam rancangannya, sedangkan Eisenman menciptakan dislokasi sebagai aturan baru dalam merancang.Le Corbusier bermain dengan dimensi dan permukaan bidang grid yang diproyeksikan secara tiga dimensi untuk menghasilkan elemen interior dan keseluruhan bangunan, sedangkan Eisenman memanipulasi bidang-bidang grid dalam rancangannya sehingga terjadi ruang-ruang interior dan eksterior bangunan. Akan tetapi keduanya memiliki kesamaan yaitu adaptasi grid sebagai proses sistematis. Dalam hal ini grid menghasilkan elemen-elemen interior dan ruang-ruang yang tersusun dalam keseluruhan bangunan. Penggunaan grid sangat beragam sesuai tujuan yang ingin dicapai masing-masing arsitek. Elemen arsitektural dan elemen interior dapat dieksplorasi dan diekspresikan melalui berbagai metode merancang berbasis grid.

In the architecture grid is widely used as bases in providing the shape, dimension and structure in the interior as well as exterior scale. Beside its forming function, grid is also utilised as a process which provides structure in the design. By studying the grid in Le Corbusier and Peter Eisenman designing process, one can notice the role of grid in the practice of architecture and interior architecture. Styling and designing concept of both architects influence how grid being applied in the designs. There are two opposite use of grid between the two. Le Corbusier desires order in his designs, while Eisenman creates dislocation as new rules in designing.

Le Corbusier plays with dimension and grid plane which are projected into three dimension in order to create interior elements and the whole building, while Eisenman manipulates grid planes in his designs in such a way that creating interior spaces and the exterior of building. However, they have similarity, i.e. the adaptation of grid as systematic process. In this instance grid creates interior elements and structured spaces in the whole building. The use of grid can be so varies, depends on the goal of individual architects. Architectural and interior elements can be explored and expressed through all kind of grid-based designing methods."

"ABSTRAKDiagram merupakan salah satu tools yang sangat umum digunakan dalam proses desain. Dalam proses desain, diagram berperan sebagai generator atau alat generatif. Mencari bagaimana diagram beroperasi dalam proses desain merupakan tujuan dari penulisan skripsi ini. Dalam skripsi ini akan dibahas mengenai peran diagram sebagai mesin abstrak melalui proses dan karakternya sebagai mesin abstrak. Proses reduksi dan proliferating dalam diagram bekerja secara terus-menerus dalam mengolah matter, yang merupakan input utama. Melalui proses reduksi dan proliferating, diagram melakukan proses konstruksi pemahaman baru secara terus menerus, yang dapat dilihat sebagai proses desain yang dilakukan dalam diagram. Pemahaman ini kemudian dipakai untuk membaca proses desain pada House IV oleh Peter Eisenman. Proses desain yang dilihat dari diagram House IV terjadi melalui operasi transformasi dan operasi Boolean.

The purpose of this paper is to look for how the diagram operates in the design process. This paper will discuss the role of the diagram as an abstract machine through the processes in it, as well as the characteristics of the abstract machine. The reduction and the proliferating process in the diagram worked continuously in processing the matter, which is the main input. Through the processes of reduction and proliferating, diagrams construct a new understanding of matter continuously, which can be seen as a design process done in a diagram. This comprehension is then used to read the design process of House IV by Peter Eisenman. The design process seen in the diagrams of House IV by Peter Eisenman is done with the transformation and Boolean operation."

"Pertumbuhan properti yang cukup tinggi di Indonesia membawa pengaruh yang bagus untuk usaha interior, baik desain interior maupun kontraktor interior. Sebuah proyek interior tidak hanya memiliki kompleksitas tinggi namun juga membutuhkan perencanaan yang tepat di awal proyek, pembagian kerja yang baik, pemberian arahan kerja tim yang tepat serta pengontrolan dan pengawasan proyek dalam aktivitas mereka sehari-hari terkait dengan efisiensi dan efektifitas agar dapat mencapai kesuksesan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan strategi yang dapat digunakan oleh para pelaku usaha interior, khususnya kontraktor, untuk meningkatkan kesuksesan proyek yang dikerjakannya. Metode survei digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dari sampel kurang lebih 30 orang manajer proyek dan pengelola proyek interior lainnya (desainer, konsultan, pengawas). Analisa data secara kuantitatif dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi hubungan antar variabel dan selanjutnya untuk menentukan strategi peningkatan kesuksesan proyek dengan validasi oleh pakar.

The property growth that is quite high in Indonesia has a good influence on interior business, both interior design and interior contractors. An interior project not only has high complexity but also requires proper planning at the beginning of the project, good division of labor, provision of appropriate teamwork and control and supervision of projects in their daily activities related to efficiency and effectiveness in order to achieve success.

The purpose of this study is to determine strategies that can be used by interior business actors, especialy contractors, to increase the success of the projects they are working on. The survey method is used to collect data from a sample of approximately 30 project managers and other interior project managers (designers, consultants, supervisors). Quantitative data analysis is carried out to evaluate the relationship between variables and then to determine strategies for increasing project success with expert validation."
