"Penyandang Disabilitas Mental di Panti Sosial mengalami viktimisasi kekerasan berupa pemasungan. Meskipun peraturan terkait larangan pemasungan telah dikeluarkan oleh pemerintah, tetapi tidak menghentikan terjadinya praktik pemasungan di Panti Sosial. Institutionalisasi di Panti Sosial menjadikan Panti Sosial sebagai tempat yang memiliki aturan sendiri sehingga membenarkan terjadinya praktik pemasungan dengan berbagai alasan. Dengan menggunakan analisis Routine Activity Theory dapat dilihat bahwa ketiga elemen RAT (a suitable target, a motivated offender, the absence of capable guardian) terjadi dalam satu ruang dan waktu sehingga viktimisasi kekerasan berupa pemasungan terjadi pada Penyandang Disabilitas Mental.

People with mental disabilities in social institutions experience violence victimization in the form of shackling. Even though regulations regarding the prohibition of shackling have been issued by the government, this has not stopped the practice of shackling in social institutions. Institutionalization in social institutions makes social institutions a place that has its own rules, thus justifying the practice of shackling for various reasons. By using Routine Activity Theory analysis, it can be seen that the three elements of RAT (a suitable target, a motivated offender, the absence of capable guardian) occur in one space and time so that violent victimization in the form of shackling occurs in Persons with Mental Disabilities."

"Skripsi ini membahas tentang manfaat pemberdayaan bagi penderita gangguan semangat dan tantangan serta faktor pendukung pemberdayaan di Unit Pelayanan Informasi Sosial, yang merupakan pilot project pelayanan rehabilitasi sosial berbasis masyarakat di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. This thesis discusses the benefits of empowerment for people who suffer from impaired enthusiasm and challenges as well as supporting factors for empowerment in the Social Information Service Unit, which is a pilot project for community-based social rehabilitation services in Indonesia. "Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dukungan sosial terhadap perilaku sehat lansia yang tinggal bersama anak. Diketahui bahwa sebagian besar lansia di Indonesia tinggal bersama anaknya. Tinggal bersama anak merupakan salah satu contoh dari pengaturan tempat tinggal living arrangement bagi lansia. Untuk mengukur kedua variabel dalam penelitian, yaitu dukungan sosial dan perilaku sehat, peneliti menggunakan alat ukur mengenai dukungan sosial yang telah diadaptasi oleh Gupta dan alat ukur perilaku sehat yang telah dikembangkan oleh tim penelitian perilaku sehat mahasiswa UI. Dukungan sosial terdiri dari tiga dimensi yaitu dimensi informasi, dimensi nyata atau langsung, dan dimensi emosional. Teknik analisis multiple regression dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ketiga dimensi dukungan sosial terhadap perilaku sehat. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 102 lansia yang tinggal bersama anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada dimensi dukungan informasi diperoleh t 102 = 0,13 dengannilai p=0,901, pada dimensi dukungan nyata atau langsung diperoleh pada t 102 = 0,92 dengannilai p=0,36, dan pada dimensi dukungan emosional diperoleh t 102 = 0,39 dengannilai p=0,699. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of social support on health behavior among older people coresidence living. It is known that most older people in Indonesia live with their children. Living with children is one of living arrangements for older people. To assess both variables in this study, which are social support and health behavior, the researcher use an instrument of social support that has been adapted by Gupta and an instrument of health behavior developed by the UI student health behavior research team. Social support consists of three dimension informational, tangible, and emotional. Multiple regression analysis is conducted to determine the effect. The sample of this study is 102 older people coresidence living. The result of this study found that on the informational support obtained t 102 0,13 with p 0,901, on the tangible support obtained t 102 0,92 with p 0,36, and on the emotional support dimension obtained t 102 0.39 with p 0,699. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the three dimension of social support cannot be effect the health behavior among older people in coresidence living."
