"Perubahan akibat menua pada lansia yang tinggal di lembaga institusi menyebabkan lansia rentan mengalami penurunan fungsi kognitif dan risiko jatuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan kualitas latihan fisik diiringi musik dengan fungsi kognitif dan risiko jatuh pada lansia di Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha PSTW Budi Mulia wilayah DKI Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional pada 106 lansia yang rutin mengikuti senam selama dua kali seminggu dalam delapan minggu terakhir. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara menggunakan instrumen MoCA-Ina untuk menilai fungsi kognitif, MFS untuk mengukur risiko jatuh, dan instrumen KLFDM untuk menilai kualitas latihan fisik diiringi musik pada lansia. Analisis multivariat regresi logistik menunjukkan kualitas latihan fisik diiringi musik yang buruk berhubungan bermakna terhadap risiko jatuh p=0.035; OR=2,521 setelah dikontrol oleh konsumsi obat. Temuan ini menyarankan lansia untuk melakukan kualitas latihan fisik yang baik dan melakukan pengontrolan konsumsi obat untuk mencegah risiko jatuh pada lansia.

Changes due to aging cause the elderly in institutional are susceptible to decreased cognitive function and the risk of falls. This study aims to identify the relationship between the quality of physical exercise accompanied by music with cognitive function and the risk of falling to the elderly at the Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha PSTW Budi Mulia of DKI Jakarta. This study used cross sectional design in 106 elderly that regularly follow gymnastics for two times a week in the last eight weeks. The data were collected using an interview technique using the MoCA Ina instrument to assess cognitive functioning, MFS to measure fall risk, and KLFDM instruments to assess the quality of physical exercise using music in the elderly.

Multivariate analysis of logistic regression showed that the poor quality of physical exercise using music was associated with fall risk p 0.035 OR 2,521 after being controlled by drug consumption. These findings suggest the elderly to perform good quality physical exercise and to control the consumption of drugs to prevent the risk of falling in the elderly."
