ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilakukan untuk mencari pola hubungan kecerdasan dominan, gaya belajar dominan, gaya pengajaran yang paling disukai terhadap kategori rata-rata skor capaian siswa SMP ?X? untuk kelas tujuh, kelas delapan dan kelas sembilan. Adanya perbedaan kecerdasan , gaya belajar, dan gaya pengajaran yang disukai setiap siswa membuat skor capaian siswa pun berbeda-beda, sehingga pola hubungan keempat hal tersebut perlu diperhatikan. Analisis yang digunakan untuk melihat pola hubungan ini adalah analisis korespondensi berganda. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan dominan yang paling banyak dimiliki siswa SMP ?X? adalah kecerdasan Interpersonal dengan gaya belajar dominan Kinestetik, mayoritas siswa ini menyukai gaya pengajaran Intellectually oriented , ketika siswa ini mendapatkan guru yang mengajar dengan gaya Intellectually oriented maka skor capaian yang diperoleh akan optimum (tinggi). Selain gaya pengajaran intellectually oriented, siswa SMP ?X? juga cocok diajar dengan gaya pengajaran people oriented. Hasil analisis yang didapatkan untuk masing-masing kelas hampir sama. Karena kecerdasan dominan dan gaya belajar siswa sulit diubah, maka untuk mengoptimalkan skor capaian siswa perlu dilakukan penyesuaian gaya pengajaran pada setiap kelas.
ABSTRACTThis Research was conducted to find the Pattern of the Dominant Intelligence, the Dominant Learning Style, and the Teaching Style which are the most preferable for the Category of Average Achievement of students in Junior High School coded ?X? for the seventh grade, eighth grade and ninth grade. The differences in intelligence, learning styles and teaching styles for each student made student?s achievement scores different, so this pattern is needed to be considered.In order to empirically analyze this pattern, this research used multiple correspondence analysis. The results showed that most of the students have Dominant Intelligence Interpersonal Intelligence with their Kinesthetic as the learning style and majority of these students liked teacher who teach with intellectually oriented style.When the student get a teacher who teach with intellectually oriented, student?s achivement scores will be optimum (high). Besides the intellectually oriented teaching style, the people oriented teaching style also applicable for SMP ?X?. Applying this research to each class resulted almost same. In order to optimize the performance scores of the students in SMP ?X?, it is not easy to make the studnets change their dominant intelligences and learning styles. Rather, making adjustment of the teaching style for each class is needed."
