"Jurnal ini membahas mengenai makna bunga dalam puisi Sanyunhwa hasil karya Kim Sowol dan puisi Kkot yang ditulis oleh Kim Chunsu. Di Korea, ada banyak puisi yang menggunakan kata bunga dalam bahasa puisinya, namun interpretasi makna bunga dalam setiap puisi-puisi tersebut berbeda. Begitu pula dengan kedua puisi ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan membandingkan makna bunga yang terdapat dalam kedua puisi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan intrinsik dan ekstrinsik puisi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan antara makna bunga dalam kedua puisi terlepas dari perbedaan penulis dan latar belakang waktu penulisan. Dalam puisi Sanyuhwa makna bunga yang dimaksud adalah bunga sebagai tumbuhan namun dalam puisi Kkot, makna bunga yang dimiliki adalah sebagai kiasan. Hasil ini didapatkan berdasarkan analisis dengan menggunakan teori relasi makna dan medan makna.

This paper explains about the meaning of flower in a poetry entitled Sanyuhwa by Kim Sowol and a poetry entitled Kkot written by Kim Chunsu.In Korea, there are many poetries that use „flower‟ word for the lyrics, but with different interpretation in every poetry. So do these two poetries. The purpose of this research is to analyze and compare the meaning of "flower" between two poetries. The method of this research is qualitative methods approached with intrinsic and extrinsic theory related to poetry.

The result of this result is that there is a difference in the meaning of flower between Sanyuhwa and Kkot regardless both poetries are written by two different poets and both poetries are made from different time. In Sanyuhwa, the meaning of flower is the real flower as a plant but in Kkot, the meaning of flower is only metaphor. The result is from analyze based on semantic relations and semantic fields theory."
