Tujuan dari tugas khusus adalah membuat brosur yang berisikan deskripsi, pencegahan dan pengobatan penyakit diare agar masyarakat dapat mencegah dan mengatasi diare secara tepat.

Agar pelayanan kefarmasian di Apotek dapat berjalan secara efisien namun tetap terjaga mutu dan kualitasnya, sebagai upaya peningkatan mutu serta efisiensi pelayanan kefarmasiandi Apotek, maka diberlakukan Standar Pelayanan Kefarmasian di Apotek sesuai dengan Keputusan Menteri Kesehatan Republik Indonesia Nomor 1027/Menkes/SK/IX/2004. Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker dilakukan pada 10 – 29 Maret 2014 dan 21 April - 12 Mei 2014 di Apotek SamMarie Basra guna memberikan perbekalan bagi para calon Apoteker untuk menerapkan ilmu yang telah dipelajari selama masa kuliah secara praktis dan langsung kepada pasien di Apotek. Kegiatan PKPA tersebut memberikan pengetahuan langsung mengenai peran dan fungsi Apoteker dalam pelayanan kefarmasiandan pengelolaan Apotek.

Pharmacists Internship Program (PIP) conducted on September 16 to October 25, 2013 at the SamMarie Basra Pharmacy to provide supplies for prospective pharmacists to apply the knowledge they have learned during the course in a practical and direct to patients in pharmacies. The PIP activities provide direct knowledge of the role and functions of pharmacists in pharmaceutical care and pharmacy management.

Saat ini, pelayanan kefarmasian yang dilakukan dalam Apotek telah mengalami pergeseran orientasi dari obat ke pasien yang mengacu kepada Pharmaceutical Care. Sebagai konsekuensi nya, Apoteker dituntut meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan perilaku agar dapat melaksanakan interaksi langsung baik kepada pasien maupun kepada tenaga kesehatan lain. Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) dilakukan pada 16 September - 25 Oktober 2013 di Apotek SamMarie Basra guna memberikan perbekalan bagi para calon Apoteker untuk menerapkan ilmu yang telah dipelajari selama masa kuliah secara praktis dan langsung kepada pasien di Apotek. Kegiatan PKPA tersebut memberikan pengetahuan langsung mengenai peran dan fungsi Apoteker dalam pelayanan kefarmasian dan pengelolaan Apotek."

"Pembangunan kesehatan merupakan salah satu upaya pembangunan nasional yang bertujuan untuk dapat meningkatkan mutu kesehatan masyarakat. Keberhasilan pembangunan kesehatan dipengaruhi oleh faktor yang mencakup akses dan kualitas layanan kesehatan yang terus membaik. Apotek sebagai salah satu fasilitas layanan kesehatan adalah suatu tempat untuk melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian, penyaluran sediaan farmasi dan perbekalan kesehatan lainnya kepada masyarakat. Fungsi apotek adalah sebagai tempat pengabdian apoteker yang telah mengucapkan sumpah jabatan, dan sebagai sarana farmasi untuk melakukan peracikan, pengubahan bentuk, pencampuran dan penyerahan obat dan sarana penyaluran perbekalan farmasi yang harus menyebarkan obat yang diperlukan masyarakat secara meluas dan merata. Dalam melaksanakan tugasnya, seorang Apoteker harus berdasar pada standar pelayanan kefarmasian. Pada saat ini orientasi paradigma pelayanan kefarmasian telah bergeser dari pelayanan obat (drug oriented) menjadi pelayanan pasien (patient oriented) dengan mengacu kepada Pharmaceutical Care. Kegiatan pelayanan yang tadinya hanya berfokus pada pengelolaan obat sebagai komoditi berubah menjadi pelayanan yang komprehensif dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien. Sebagai konsekuensi perubahan orientasi tersebut maka apoteker dituntut untuk selalu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilannya agar mampu berkomunikasi dengan tenaga kesehatan lain secara aktif, berinteraksi langsung dengan pasien di samping menerapkan keilmuannya di bidang farmasi.

Pharmacy as one of the health care facility is a place to do the work of pharmacy, distribution of pharmaceutical preparations and other medical supplies to the community. The function is as a place of apothecary devotion who have took the oath of office, and to perform compounding pharmacy, changing the form, mixing and delivery of drugs, pharmaceuticals distribution facilities that must deploy the necessary drugs are widely and equitably. In performing its duties, apothecary must be based on the standard of pharmacy services. At this time the pharmacy service orientation paradigm has shifted from drug services (drug oriented) into patient care (patientoriented) with reference to the Pharmaceutical Care. Service activities originally only focused on medication management as commodities turn into a comprehensive range of services with the aim to improve the quality of life of patients. As a consequence of changes in the orientation, apothecary are required to always improve their knowledge and skills to be able to communicate with other health professionals actively, interacting directly with the patient in addition to apply their knowledge in the field of pharmacy."

Kegiatan PKPA ini bertujuan agar mahasiswa profesi apoteker dapat memahami tugas pokok, peran dan fungsi apoteker di apotek serta memberikan kesempatan bagi mahasiswa calon apoteker untuk beradaptasi langsung pada lingkungan kerja kefarmasian yang sebenarnya di apotek. Tugas khusus yang diberikan berjudul pembuatan daftar dan pengkajian terhadap penyimpanan obat Look Alike Sound Alike (LASA) dan high alert di apotek Sammarie Basra. Tugas khusus ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis obatobatan yang dapat dikategorikan sebagai LASA dan high alert di apotek SamMarie Basra serta mengetahui apakah penyimpanan obat-obatan sudah sesuai dengan ketentuan yang disarankan oleh Institute for Safe Medication Practices (ISMP).

Pharmacist Professional Practice was implemented in Apotek SamMarie Basra, Basuki Rachmat Street Number 31, East Jakarta. PKPA activity was intended that students can understand the basic tasks, roles, and functions of pharmacist in pharmacy. Besides that, the aim of this activity was also to give chance for the students to adapt in the reality of pharmacist work environment at pharmacy. A special task was given as making list of and reviewing the storage of Look Alike Sound Alike (LASA) and High Alert drugs in Apotek SamMarie Basra. It was aimed to know LASA and high alert drugs that exist in this pharmacy. Also, to determine whether the storage of medicines is in conformity with the provisions suggested by the Institute for Safe Medication Practices (ISMP)."
