"This book investigates and reviews recent advanced techniques and important applications in vehicular communications and networking (VCN) from a novel perspective of the combination and integration of VCN and connected vehicles, which provides a significant scientific and technical support for future 5G-based VCN.5G-Enabled Vehicular Communications and Networking introduces vehicular channel characteristics, reviews current channel modeling approaches, and then provides a new generic geometry-based stochastic modeling approach for vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications. The investigation of vehicular channel measurements and modeling provides fundamental supports for the VCN system design. Then, this book investigates VCN-vehicle combination from PHY and MAC layers, respectively. As for the PHY layer, many advanced techniques that can be effectively applied in VCN to counter the PHY challenges are introduced, including novel ICI cancellation methods, index modulated OFDM, differential spatial modulation, and energy harvesting relaying.As for the MAC layer, distributed and centralized MAC designs are analyzed and compared in terms of feasibility and availability. Specifically, distributed congestion control, D2D-enabled vehicular communications, and centralized data dissemination scheduling are elaborated, which can significantly improve the network performance in vehicular networks. "This book constitutes the joint refereed proceedings of the 12 International Conference on Next Generation Teletraffic and Wired/Wireless Advanced Networking, NEW2AN, and the 5th Conference on Internet of Things and Smart Spaces, ruSMART 2012, held in St. Petersburg, Russia, in August 2012. The total of 42 papers was carefully reviewed and selected for inclusion in this book. The 14 papers selected from ruSMART are organized in topical sections named, defining an internet-of-things ecosystem, future services, and smart space governing through service mashups. "Penelitian ini menguji dua model yang digabung dari penelitian Sherry et al. (2006) dan Kim et al. (2011). Model tersebut mencoba untuk menjelaskan perilaku penggunaan Social Networking Games (SNG)?game yang terintegrasi dengan platform jejaring sosial. Enam jenis motivasi mengapa orang bermain game diuji. Motivasi dilihat hubungannya terhadap kesenangan yang didapatkan dan kontinuitas penggunaan game. Metode path analysis digunakan dalam menguji model terkait. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa tantangan dan kompetisi adalah predikor positif yang menentukan apakah seseorang terpuaskan atau tidak dengan bermain. Berdasarkan hasil, aspek sosial dari social networking game justru sangat minim. Maka penelitian selanjutnya harus melihat SNG dari jenis game dan mediumnya.

This study investigates two models combined two prior studies from Sherry et al. (2006) and Kim et al. (2011). The model attempts to explain behavioral intention to use Social Networking Games - games that are integrated with social networking platforms. 6 types of motivations why people play games tested. Relation between motivation, obtained pleasure and game usage continuity were examined. Path Analysis methods used in testing related models. Regression analysis showed that challenge and competition is positive predictor that determines whether a person is satisfied or not with the play. Based on the results, it is precisely the social aspect of social networking games was minimal. SNG has to be seen from the type of game and the medium."
