"Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat pengaruh panduan coaching kepala ruang terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pengambilan keputusan perawat primer. Penelitian dengan desain quasi experiment with control group posttest only. Populasi penelitian adalah perawat primer di ruang rawat inap PKSC, Jakarta. Jumlah sampel 77 orang pada kelompok intervensi dan 77 orang pada kelompok kontrol.
Hasil penelitian karakteristik individu tidak ada pengaruh terhadap berpikir kritis dan pengambilan keputusan. Analisis regresi logistik ganda ditemukan adanya pengaruh coaching terhadap berpikir kritis ( p value 0,04) dan pengambilan keputusan (p value 0,036), Coaching dapat dikembangkan penggunaannya bagi staf, perawat baru dan pembimbingan mahasiswa untuk pengembangan keperawatan profesional.
The aim of this study was to examine the effect of coaching guide of charge nurse to critical thinking and decision making primary nurse .This study with quasi experiment with control group posttest only design. The study population was the primary nurse at the inpatient ward in PKSC, Jakarta. The number of samples of 77 people in the intervention group and 77 people in the control group. The individual characteristic did not reveal any contribution.Multiple logistic regression analysis found that the significant influences on coaching toward critical thinking (p value 0,044) and decision making (p value 0,036). Coaching can be developed for personal use, nurses orientee and nurses student for professional nursing development."
