"Skripsi ini membahas tentang pengambilan keputusan untuk memilih alternatif pengganti lay out machine dan checking fixture. Kriteria dan sub kriteria pemilihan alat pengganti ditentukan berdasarkan fungsi dari alat tersebut. Dengan menggunakan metode AHP (analytic hierarchy process) kriteria dan sun kriteria disusun ke dalam hirarki kemudian dihitung bobot dari alternatif. Hasil akhir penelitian berupa alat yang tepat sebagai pengganti dan annual cost saving dari penggunaan alat tersebut. Alternatif dengan prioritas tertinggi menjadi pertimbangan dalam pengambilan keputusan.

The focus of this study is the decision making process to choose lay out the machine andchecking fixture. The criteria and sub criteria for the selection of replacementequipment is determined based on the function of the tool. By using the method of AHP (analytic hierarchy process) criteria and sub criteria organized into a hierarchy and then calculated the weight of the alternative. The final results of the research are the right tools in place and the annual cost savings from use of the tool. Alternatives with the highest priority consideration in the decision."
