Kawaii dan karakter merupakan salah satu budaya populer Jepang yang banyak digandrungi dalam berbagai cara, gaya, dan bentuk. Perusahaan Sanrio melihat peluang ini dan menciptakan karakter-karakter kartun yang ditambahkan dengan kesan kawaii. Karakter terkenal seperti Hello Kitty sebagai pemicu keberhasilan Sanrio yang akhirnya menjadikan perusahaan ini sebagai perusahaan yang memproduksi banyak karakter-karakter kawaii lainnya dan mengubah kawaii menjadi komoditas dan merek dagang yang sangat populer di seluruh Jepang dan dunia. Produksi karakter kawaii dengan jumlah yang besar, cakupan pemasaran yang luas, penggunaan media massa, dan tingginya minat masyarakat terhadap keunikan karakter Sanrio menjadikan Sanrio sebagai salah satu perusahaan raksasa Jepang dalam industri karakter serta menjadikan karakter kawaii sebagai salah satu bagian dari banyaknya budaya populer di Jepang .

Sanrio company see this opportunity and created cartoon characters with adding kawaii image Famous character such as Hello Kitty was prompt in Sanrio's success that in the end made this company as a company that produced many other kawaii characters and changed kawaii into commodity and trade mark that really popular in Japan and all over the world. "Metafora diutarakan penutur untuk menyampaikan suatu gagasan melalui perbandingan ranah konseptual dengan ranah yang berbeda. Penggunaannya sudah tidak asing lagi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari maupun dalam karya sastra. Penelitian ini membahas klasifikasi metafora bahasa Jepang berdasarkan kategori makna asosiatif yang diusungkan Geoffrey Leech. Metafora asosiatif yang diamati sebagai data penelitian berasal dari lirik lagu karya Yoasobi dalam kurun waktu 2019-2021. Data berupa lirik lagu yang mengandung metafora dibedah menggunakan teori analisis metafora oleh Knowles dan Moon. Hasil analisis metafora akan mengidentifikasikan makna asosiatif macam apa yang dikandung dalam metafora tersebut. Melalui klasifikasi data, penulis berupaya untuk memperlihatkan komponen makna dan karakteristik masing-masing metafora asosiatif.

Metaphors used by a speaker as a way to convey an idea through the comparison of conceptual vehicle alongside with its different vehicle. Its usage frequency is no longer a foreign term both in everyday lives and literature works. This study discusses the classification of Japanese metaphors based on its associative meaning categories implemented by Geoffrey Leech. Associative metaphors used as this study’s data are compiled from song lyrics of Yoasobi which were released between 2019 and 2021. Metaphors found in song lyrics are being dissected using the theory of proper way of analysing metaphors by Knowles and Moon. The result of analysed metaphors will identify which associative meaning they bear. By acknowledging the data’s classifications, the author tries to show the component of the meaning and characteristics of each associative metaphors."

Karya tulis ini membahas hubungan Jepang dengan dunia internasional melalui International Drama Festival
in Tokyo. Penulis memilih acara ini untuk diteliti karena serangkaian acara yang termasuk di dalamnya
termasuk ke dalam bentuk diplomasi kebudayaan, yang dilakukan dengan pendekatan yang berbeda pada setiap
acaranya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari tahu bagaimana Jepang melakukan diplomasi kebudayaan
melalui beberapa rangkaian acara yang ada dalam International Drama Festival in Tokyo. Selain itu, juga untuk
mengetahui karakteristik diplomasi kebudayaan Jepang dan apakah International Drama Festival in Tokyo
mewakili karakteristik tersebut. Serta faktor apa yang menyebabkan penyebaran nilai secara tidak kentara dapat
dilakukan Jepang melalui drama produksinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi penelitian kualitatif,
dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa studi dokumen, baik dari sumber primer maupun sekunder. Hasil
penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Jepang melakukan diplomasi kebudayaan melalui serangkaian acara di
International Drama Festival in Tokyo dengan cara kompetisi, eksibisi, dan penetrasi. International Drama
Festival in Tokyo juga mewakili karakteristik diplomasi Jepang, sehingga merupakan media yang tepat untuk
memasukkan nilai-nilai yang ada pada Jepang ke dunia internasional demi mencapai kepentingan nasionalnya

content in International Drama Festival in Tokyo, and it?s conducted in different approaches. This research
intend to find out how Japan implement cultural diplomacy through various events in International Drama
Festival in Tokyo. Writer also try to find out Japan?s cultural diplomacy characteristics and whether this
event represent it. Furthermore, to know what makes Japan able to spread their values through their drama
production, subtly. This research use qualitative data collection method, involve collecting some amount of
data, including primary and secondary data. Result showed that Japan implement cultural diplomacy through
various events in International Drama Festival in Tokyo in three different forms: exhibition, competition, and
penetration. International Drama Festival in Tokyo also represent Japan?s cultural diplomacy characteristics,
and expected to help Japan to spread their values through their drama production among foreign audiences,

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk terjemahan metafora bahasa Jepang ke dalam bahasa Indonesia dan mengungkapkan perpadanan metafora bahasa sumber dengan unsur bahasa sasaran melalui prosedur penerjemahan berupa pergeseran baik berupa transposisi maupun modulasi. Analisis penerjemahan metafora dalam Tsu ke dalam Tsa dilakukan dalam dua tahap. Pada tahap awal telah dikumpulkan data dari sumber data yang berupa novel dan terjemahannya. Data seluruhnya dikumpulkan dari Novel Yukiguni karya Kawabata Yasunari dan terjemahannya Daerah Salju oleh Ajip Rosidi.
Data tersebut diperoleh dengan mengenali unsur kebahasaan yang tak berterima secara harfiah dan dengan menggunakan teori pembandingan. Ditemukan unsur kebahasaan yang diidentifikasi sebagai metafora. Setelah itu, metafora dalam Tsu dikelompokkan berdasarkan tipe pembandingan yang membentuknya. Sebagian besar metafora bahasa sumber dan terjemahannya memiliki tipe pembandingan tak penuh dan citra yang sama. Jumlah terjemahan dalam bentuk metafora tipe pembandingan penuh dengan citra yang sama adalah 10 (19,23%), tipe pembandingan tak penuh dengan citra sama adalah 35 (67,31%) serta tipe pembandingan tak penuh dengan citra yang berbeda sejumlah 7 (13,46%). Jumlah terjemahan dalam bentuk simile dengan pembandingan tak penuh sebanyak 6 (40%), dalam bentuk non figuratif dengan pembandingan penuh sebanyak 1 (6,67%) dan pembandingan tak penuh sebanyak 8 (53,33%).
Berdasarkan analisis terhadap penerjemahan metafora Tsu ke dalam Tsa, disimpulkan bahwa prosedur penerjemahan yang sangat berpengaruh pada pencapaian kesepadanan dinamis dalam penerjemahan sebuah metafora adalah prosedur modulasi dan transposisi. Pergeseran sudut pandang terjadi pada citra metafora tersebut, sedangkan eksplisitasi terjadi pada titik kemiripannya. Pergeseran bentuk diperlukan untuk menghasilkan terjemahan yang wajar dalam bahasa sasaran.
Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa sebagian besar metafora Jepang dan terjemahannya berbentuk tipe pembandingan tak penuh. Hal ini sesuai dengan hipotesis Quintilian yang menyatakan tipe pembandingan tak penuh adalah versi yang paling baik dari teori pembandingan. Dan segi terjemahan telah tercapai kesepadanan dinamis dalam penerjemahan metafora Jepang ke dalam bahasa Indonesia. Amanat yang terdapat dalam metafora bahasa Jepang dapat tersampaikan dalam bahasa sasaran."

"Skripsi ini membahas mengenai perubahan karakter pada beberapa tokoh dalam kumpulan cerita pendek Kami no Kodomotachi wa Mina Odoru melalui pendekatan psikologi sastra, khususnya menggunakan metode telaah karakterisasi fiksi. Penulisan skripsi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perubahan karakter yang dialami oleh beberapa tokoh dalam setiap cerita dan menjabarkan berbagai pemicu yang mempengaruhi perubahan tersebut. Upaya mengamati perubahan karakter dapat ditunjukkan melalui dialog antar tokoh, sudut pandang pencerita, tuturan pengarang, tingkah laku, dan penampilan tokoh. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa hanya ada beberapa tokoh dari keenam cerita yang mengalami perubahan karakter setelah adanya suatu pemicu, baik yang berupa bencana maupun keadaan yang tak terduga.

The focus of this study is the transformation of character in the short story Kami no Kodomotachi wa Mina Odoru through approach of psychology literature, especially using fictional characterization method. This study aims to analyze the transformation of some characters in each story and describe the various triggers that influence these transformation. To observe the transformation in the character can be shown through dialogue among characters, the viewpoint of the narrator, the author’s speech, behavior, and appearance of characters. The analysis shows that there are only a few characters of the six stories that are changing the character after the triggers, either in the form of a disaster or unforeseen circumstances.

Dalam budaya populer terdapat berbagai contoh istilah metode, salah satunya parodi. Parodi adalah sebuah karya yang diciptakan untuk menyindir suatu karya asli yang sudah ada sebelumnya. Parodi dapat ditemukan dalam karya seni, diantaranya adalah manga. Dalam manga Saint Oniisan, terdapat unsur parodi yang tergambar melalui dua karakter utamanya, yaitu Iesu dan Budda. Iesu merujuk kepada ‗Yesus? sedangkan Budda merujuk kepada ‗Gautama Buddha? sebagai tokoh agama besar dunia. Penulis menganalisis parodi manga Saint Oniisan berdasarkan teori Simon Dentith yang menyebutkan bahwa parodi dapat dibuat untuk tujuan meniru suatu tokoh/ sosok terkenal. Dalam manga, parodi muncul melalui tampilan fisik karakter utama, perisiwa historis dalam cerita, dan penggambaran sifat karakter utama. Selain itu, dalam beberapa chapter ditemukan sinkretisme yang termasuk sebagai bentuk kelucuan/ komedi cerita. Sinkretisme dalam manga tidak ditampilkan secara filosofis melainkan sangat pragmatis.
ABSTRACT When we are talking about the populer culture, there are many methods to define popular culture itself. One of them called as parody. Parody is an art creation whom created to satizire the real art creation that existed before it. Therefore parody can be found in art creation like manga. In Saint Oniisan manga, there is a parody that being visualised by the manga which refer to Iesu as ‗Jesus Christ? and Budda as ‗Gautama Buddha?. Writer analyzes the parody contents of Saint Oniisan manga which refer to Simon Dentith theory which said that parody is created to make copy a famous figure. On Saint Oniisan manga, the parody context can be found in the physical of the protagonist, historical content of the story, and character of the protagonist on the countrary. Also, we can find a syncretism concept on any chapter from this manga as a comedy pattern which involved to the story. Jepang sebagai negara industri maju telah mengembangkan investasinya sampai
ke Indonesia. Perusahaan Jepang memiliki bentuk ciri khas manajemen yakni
manajemen gemba/genchi genbutsu. Skripsi ini menjelaskan tentang manajemen
gemba dimana manajemen tersebut membuat atasan harus langsung terjun ke
lapangan. Astra Honda Motor dan Showa Manufacturing Indonesia merupakan
perusahaan Jepang yang bergerak di bidang otomotif dan manajemen gemba
merupakan salah satu manajemen yang ada di dalamnya. Penelitian ini adalah
penelitian kualitatif yang datanya didapat melalui studi pustaka dan wawancara,
dengan desain eksposisi. Analisis dari skripsi ini berkutat pada proses, kelebihan,
kekurangan, kesempatan, ancaman dan efektivitas dari aplikasi manajemen gemba
di kedua perusahaan tersebut.
