"Tindak tutur ilokusi dapat ditemukan pada dialog tokoh film. Pertuturan ilokusi oleh karakter dalam film memiliki maksud dan tujuan yang akan berpengaruh terhadap jalannya alur cerita. Penelitian ini mengkaji jenis dan fungsi tindak tutur ilokusi pada film Aruna dan Lidahnya yang dirilis pada tahun 2018. Aruna dan Lidahnya adalah film tentang perjalanan kuliner dan penelusuran wabah hasil alihwahana dari novel dengan judul yang sama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis jenis dan fungsi tindak tutur ilokusi yang dituturkan para tokoh dalam film Aruna dan Lidahnya. Data yang digunakan adalah tindak tutur ilokusi pada tokoh utama film. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Analisis data dilakukan berdasarkan teori tindak tutur Yule (1996). Ditemukan kelima jenis tindak tutur ilokusi yaitu direktif, ekspresif, representatif, komisif, dan deklaratif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya empat puluh tiga tindak tutur ilokusi dengan frekuensi terbanyak adalah tindak tutur ilokusi direktif dengan fungsi perintah dan tindak tutur ilokusi ekspresif dengan fungsi mengekspresikan rasa kecewa.

Illocutionary speech acts can be found in the dialog of movie characters. Illocutionary speech by the characters in the movie has intentions and purposes that will affect the storyline. This study examines the types and functions of illocutionary speech acts in the movie Aruna and Her Palate released in 2018. Aruna and Her Palate is a movie about a culinary journey and the search for a plague from a novel with the same title. This research aims to analyze the types and functions of illocutionary speech acts spoken by the characters in the film Aruna and Her Palate. The data used are illocutionary speech acts on the main character of the movie. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The data analysis is based on Yule's (1996) speech act theory. The research found five types of illocutionary speech acts, namely directive, expressive, representative, commissive, and declarative. The result shows that there are forty-three illocutionary speech acts with the most frequency are directive illocutionary speech acts with the function of command and expressive illocutionary speech acts with the function of expressing disappointment."
