"Penelitian ini menganalisis representasi perilaku perempuan pada foto kiriman pembaca di majalah segmentasi anak perempuan di Indonesia dan representasi perilaku feminin dalam foto kiriman pembaca berdasarkan fashion mereka. Hal ini berkaitan dengan fungsi media sebagai salah satu agen sosialisasi bagi anak. Penellitian ini menggunakan konsep representasi untuk menganalisis representasi perilaku feminin. Selain itu juga dipakai konsep semiotika yang dibuat oleh Sausurre yang menyatakan bahwa suatu tanda terdiri dari penanda dan petanda yang akan menunjukkan makna dari suatu tanda. Hasilnya adalah terdapat tiga representasi yang sama-sama diangkat oleh kedua majalah anak ini, yaitu representasi perilaku perempuan menggunakan make up, perempuan mengenakan aksesoris, dan perempuan berperilaku ramah dengan tersenyum.

This research analyzes feminine behavior representation in the reader photo submission in girls' magazine in Indonesia and the feminine behavior representation in the reader photo submission based on their fashion. This relates to the function of the media as one of the socialization agents for children. This research uses representation concept to analyze the representation of feminine behavior. Besides, this research also uses semiotic concept by Saussurre which states that a sign consists of signifier and signified that disclose the meaning of a sign. The result is that there are three representations are equally appointed by this two girls? magazine, they are behavior representation that woman uses make up, woman uses accessory, and women behave friendly by smiling."

"Film animasi Disney pertama, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) adalah pelopor film animasi Disney yang mengandung gender bias, dimana sang pangeran dan putri sebagai subyek gender bias . Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan penggambaran gender para kurcaci dalam film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) ditinjau melalui empat dimensi - sifat, perilaku, karakteristik fisik, dan pekerjaan dengan menggunakan metode content analysis. Dugaan sementara, penggambaran gender para kurcaci tidak menunjukkan gender bias. Sebab, mereka tidak digambarkan dalam karakter pangeran atau putri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 204 insiden yang telah diteliti, satu kurcaci digambarkan memiliki lebih banyak sifat maskulin daripada sifat feminin. Sedangkan, enam kurcaci lainnya digambarkan memiliki lebih banyak sifat-sifat feminin daripada sifat maskulin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa para kurcaci tidak menunjukkan gender bias. Dengan demikian, karakter para kurcaci lebih menguntungkan bagi anak-anak dalam membantu proses gender knowledge development.

Disney's first full-length animated film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) is the pioneer of Disney's animated film containing gender biases with the prince and princess as the subjects. This research aims to examine gender portrayals of the dwarfs in the film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) through four dimensions traits, behaviors, physical characteristics, and occupations by using content analysis method. Since the dwarfs are not depicted in the prince or princess characters, it is expected that they do not show gender biases.

The results of the research shows that out of 204 incidents coded, one dwarf is found to be depicted as having more masculine traits than the feminine one. In contrast, the other six dwarfs are depicted as having more feminine traits than the masculine ones. The results suggest that the dwarfs do not show gender biases. Thus, they are more beneficial than gender-biased prince and princess characters for children in helping the process of gender knowledge development."

"Tulisan ini membahas komodifikasi nilai religiusitas pada tubuh perempuan berhijab sebagai bentuk kekerasan terhadap perempuan ditinjau dari perspektif kriminologi dan feminisme radikal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis wacana kritis Norman Fairclough untuk melihat unsur kekerasan terhadap perempuan dalam teks. Dengan penelitian ini, peneliti berupaya menunjukkan bahwa budaya populer merupakan arena terjadinya media misogini yang lekat dengan kekerasan terhadap perempuan. Annisa Magazine menghadirkan komodifikasi nilai religiusitas yang dilekatkan dengan komodifikasi tubuh perempuan sebagai bentuk objektifikasi, komodifikasi, dan pemenuhan unsur male gaze pada tubuh perempuan. Mitos kecantikan juga dibentuk untuk melanggengkan kekuasaan patriarki dalam segala aspek. Hal ini merupakan kekerasan terhadap perempuan dan bagian dari objek studi kriminologi yang membahas mengenai korban.

This thesis discusses the commodification of religiosity value on the body of women who wear hijab as a form of violence against women in criminological and a radical feminism perspective. This study uses the critical discourse analysis method by Norman Fairclough to see the elements of violence against women in text. Within this study, the researcher attempted to show that the popular culture is the arena of media mysogyny that is inherently related with violence against women. Annisa Magazine presents the commodification of women’s body as a form of objectification, commodification and compliance of male gaze’s elements on the women’s body. Beauty myth is also set up to preserve the power of patriarchy in all aspects. It is violence against women and a part of the object of criminology that discuss the victim."

Hal itu yang dilakukan oleh Paduan Suara Dialita yang beranggotakan para perempuan penyintas tragedi 1965 yang menjadi tahanan politik karena dianggap memiliki hubungan dengan Partai Komunis Indonesia. Penelitian ini menganalisis bagaimana penulisan perempuan dilakukan oleh para perempuan penyintas 1965 melalui lirik lagu yang dinyanyikan oleh Paduan Suara Dialita. Lirik lagu dari Paduan Suara Dialita diperlakukan sebagai teks. Analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan perspektif feminis pendekatan analisis wacana kritis...... Women is part of history, but their existence often being forgotten. Feminine writing brings women into history, through writing women put themselves into a narration. A choir group called Paduan Suara Dialita consists of women survivors from 1965 tragedy did feminine writing through their songs. These women survivors used to be political prisoners because they were accused as Indonesia Communist Party sympathies or member. This research examines how the lyrics of the songs from Paduan Suara Dialita can be form of feminine writing. This research is a feminist research with critical discourse analysis approach."
