"The patristic, ecclesiological, and liturgical revival in the Orthodox Church has had a profound impact on world Orthodoxy and the ecumenical movement. Orthodox leaders have also contributed to the movements efforts in inter-religious dialogue, especially with Muslims. Yet this book is the first comprehensive attempt to assess an Orthodox position on Islam. It explains why, despite being neighbors for centuries, relations between Orthodox Christians and Muslims have become increasingly complex as internal and external forces challenge their ability to understand each other and live in peace. It demonstrates how a growing number of Orthodox scholars and leaders have reframed the discussion on Islam, while endorsing and participating in dialogue with Muslims. "Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menjelaskan pelaksanaan strategi kesantunan oleh tokoh utama wanita melalui kajian pragmatik merupakan hal penting sebagai upaya untuk membangun relasi dengan pihak lain. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif, skripsi ini berfokus pada pemilihan tuturan dalam beberapa dialog dari pemeran utama wanita, Elizabeth dalam film Elizabeth: in the Golden Age. Teori FTA (Aksi Pengancaman Muka) dari Brown & Levinson (1987) dengan bentuk strategi kesantunan baik kesantunan positif maupun kesantunan negatif dan konsep power in discourse oleh Fairclough (1989) digunakan untuk membantu menganalisis pemilihan strategi kesantunan dengan tiga hal yang berusaha dijelaskan dalam penelitian ini: (1) penerapan bentuk strategi kesantunan oleh tokoh utama dalam berkomunikasi, (2) bentuk strategi kesantunan yang paling banyak digunakan oleh tokoh utama dalam berkomunikasi dengan tokoh lainnya, (3) faktor dan variabel yang mempengaruhi tokoh utama dalam memilih strategi kesantunan ketika berkomunikasi. Dengan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bentuk strategi kesantunan negatif paling banyak digunakan oleh tokoh utama yang dipengaruhi oleh status, konteks, situasi dan relasi kuasa antar peserta tutur yang terlibat dalam komunikasi.

This research provides that the selections of politeness strategies by the main female character through pragmatics analysis consider as essential points in maintaining the construction of relationship to other parties. Through qualitative method, this paper focuses on utterances’ selection in some conversations of main female character, Elizabeth in the movie Elizabeth: in the Golden Age. Theory of Brown & Levinson (1987) in FTAs (Face Threatening Acts) with the emphasize of positive and negative politeness and the concept of power in discourse by Fairclough (1987) is adopted to analyze the selections of politeness strategies with three major points that attempt to propose in this paper: (1) the implementation politeness strategies by the main female character in communication (2) the most politeness strategy that is used by main female character when communicate to other characters (3) the influences of some factors and variables in selecting politeness strategies in communication. It is concluded that the main female character choose negative politeness under the influences of social status, context, setting and power relation among participants who are involed in communication."

"ABSTRAKSkripsi ini membahas mengenai sejarah penerbangan komersil di Indonesia. Dunia penerbangan merupakan salah satu bidang yang sangat penting dalam sejarah transportasi Indonesia. Garuda Indonesia Airways sebagai badan usaha milik negara mendapatkan tugas untuk mengembangkan dunia penerbangan komersil di Indonesia. Wiweko Seopono sebagai direktur utama GIA periode 1968-1984 mampu membawa Garuda mencapai masa emasnya dengan menjadi maskapai penerbangan terbesar kedua se-Asia setelah Jepang pada tahun 1982. ABSTRACTThis thesis discusses the history of commercial flight in Indonesia. Aviation is one area that is very important in the history of transportation in Indonesia. Garuda Indonesia Airways as state owned enterprises have a duty to develop commercial aviation in Indonesia. Wiweko Seopono as managing director of GIA Garuda period 1968 1984 were able to bring the gold to reach the future become the second largest airline in Asia after Japan in 1982.
