"Friedrich Waismann (1896 1959) was one of the most gifted students and collaborators of Moritz Schlick. Accepted as a discussion partner by Wittgenstein from 1927 on, he functioned as spokesman for the latter 's ideas in the Schlick Circle, until Wittgenstein 's contact with this most faithful interpreter was broken off in 1935 and not renewed when exile took Waismann to Cambridge. "ABSTRAKPenanganan batu saluran kemih khususnya batu ureter mempunyai modalitas yang bervariasi. RS Pusat Pertamina mempunyai ESWL EDAP Sonolith Technomed dan URS dengan litotripsi laser holmium:YAG. Sampai saat ini belum pernah dilakukan evaluasi perbandingan dengan kedua modalitas tindakan ini di RS Pusat Pertamina Jakarta. Penelitian dilakukan di Rumah Sakit Pusat Pertamina Jakarta secara analitik komparatif.Data diperoleh dari pasien yang dirawat dengan batu ureter dari bulan Januari sampai Desember 2009. Kami menemukan 81 batu ureter yang diterapi (15 dengan ESWL dan 66 dengan URS) dalam kurun waktu Januari – Desember 2009. Modalitas terapi pada batu ureter tersebut terbanyak dengan URS diikuti ESWL. Pemakaian DJ stent pada 19,8% tindakan dengan pemakaian terbanyak bersamaan dengan URS dibandingkan dengan ESWL. Angka bebas batu pada batu ureter tidak bermakna antara pemakaian URS dibandingkan ESWL, walaupun angka bebas batu pada URS lebih tinggi daripada ESWL. Pemakaian DJ stent juga tidak mempengaruhi perbedaan angka bebas batu ureter pada kedua modalitas tindakan ini. Angka bebas batu pada kedua modalitas terapi ini masih di bawah nilai dari literatur yang ada karena penilaian angka bebas batu diambil saat sesudah tindakan atau 1-2 hari sesudah tindakan dengan imaging foto polos abdomen dan USG.

ABSTRACTManagement of urinary lithiasis, especially ureteric stone has various modality. Central Hospital Pertamina has ESWL EDAP Sonolith Technomed and URS with lithotripsy laser holmium: YAG. Until now, it has never been evaluated comparatively between two those modalities at Central Hospital Pertamina Jakarta. Study was conducted at Central Hospital Pertamina Jakarta by comparing those two modalities using analytic comparative.The data was taken from patients’ medical record diagnosed as ureteric stone who had been treated from January to Desember 2009. We found 81 ureteric stone treated (15 with ESWL and 66 with URS) from January to Desember 2009. Using of DJ stent were 19,8% of the treatment, together with URS is more common than ESWL. Stone free rate in ureteric stone was not significantly between treatment with URS and ESWL, although stone free rate of URS was higher than ESWL. Using of DJ stent didn’t influence of stone free rate of ureteric stone from two of those modalities. Stone free rate of these modalities was below of stone free rate at literatures published, because evaluation from stone free rate of this study was taken after the treatment or 1-2 days after the treatment with imaging of KUB and USG"
