"Skripsi ini berisi analisis ketidak berdayaan tokoh Ninka dalam novel Novel Веселые Похороны/veselye poxorony/Pemakaman Ceria karya Lyudmila Evgen'evna Ulitskaya. Ketidak berdayaan Ninka sebagai seorang perempuan membuat suaminya merasa bertanggung awab. Suami Ninka beranggapan bahwa Ninka tidak dapat hidup tanpa dirinya. Metode yang digunakan dalam skripsi ini adalah metode deskriptif analitis data diperoleh melalui sumber-sumber literature, kemudian dikaitkan dengan teori Kritik sastra feminis dan feminisme eksistensialis. Melalui penelitian ini penulis ingin memaparkan bagaimana suami Ninka memandang ketidak berdayaan Ninka di dalam kehidupan yang dijalaninya. Skripsi ini menjelaskan bagaimana Ninka dianggap sebagai perempuan yang lemah dan tidak berdaya sebagai pelengkap di dalam kehidupan Alik.

The focus of this study is the helplessness of Ninka, one of female character in the novel Novel Веселые Похороны/veselye poxorony/The Funeral Party by Lyudmila Evgen’evna Ulitskaya. Ninka’s helplessness made her husband felt that she is in his responsible. Ninka's husband feels that Ninka is just can’t live without him.

The purpose of this study is to analyse that how's Ninka's character from the feminism perspective. The feminism theory that I used is feminism existentialist and from that point of view, we can see if this novel is including in feminist literature or not because of Ninka’s character. This research is analytical descriptive."
