"ABSTRAK
Self-generated validity research has demonstrated that responding to survey questions changes subsequently measured judgements and behavior. We examine the scope and persistence of the effect of measuring satisfaction on customer behavior over time. In a field experiment conducted in a financial services setting, we hypothesize and find that measuring satisfaction (a) changes one-time purchase behavior, (b) changes relational customer behaviors (likelihood of defection, aggregate product use, and profitability), and (c) results in effects that increase for months afterward and persist even a year later. These results raise questions concerning the design, interpretation, and ethics in the conduct of applied marketing research studies."

"This volume provides a good illustration of the sorts of insights that qualitative and conceptual analysis can provide. Using some of the latest qualitative research tools, this volume highlights insights about consumption ranging from how consumers process advertising messages, how skiers consume a ski resort, and how small retailers can combat the practice of "showrooming" by consumers comparing online prices with mobile devices to the nature of consumer "presence, rethinking the meanings of prices, and buying counterfeit luxuries with friends. These and other practices provide eye-opening insights of their own. But they also spark the imagination by demonstrating what qualitative research can do and why it is an increasingly popular set of techniques."

"This Second Edition of the authoritative resource summarizes the state of consumer finance research across disciplines for expert findings on--and strategies for enhancing--consumers economic health. New and revised chapters offer current research insights into familiar concepts (retirement saving, bankruptcy, marriage and finance) as well as the latest findings in emerging areas, including healthcare costs, online shopping, financial therapy, and the neuroscience behind buyer behavior. The expanded coverage also reviews economic challenges of diverse populations such as ethnic groups, youth, older adults, and entrepreneurs, reflecting the ubiquity of monetary issues and concerns. Underlying all chapters is the increasing importance of financial literacy training and other large-scale interventions in an era of economic transition.
Among the topics covered:
- Consumer financial capability and well-being.
- Advancing financial literacy education using a framework for evaluation.
- Financial coaching: defining an emerging field.
- Consumer finance of low-income families.
- Financial parenting: promoting financial self-reliance of young consumers.
- Financial sustainability and personal finance education. "

"Conceived of as an empowering alternative to inpatient treatment and traditional community programs, mental health consumer-run organizations--CROs--offer consumers a hands-on stake in their own recovery. A growing evidence base suggests that CROs are a particularly effective form of self-help, with randomized trials demonstrating CRO participants experience improvements in personal empowerment, social integration, and well-being. Consumer-Run Mental Health explains their methods and analyzes their efficacy.
A robust theoretical framework synthesizes diverse perspectives to illuminate behavioral processes that contribute to recovery and the dynamics of CROs in creating environments that promote recovery. Data from the author's studies of CRO participation highlight consumer perceptions of the benefits of their involvement. An in-depth ethnographic study examines participant’s lives inside and outside the organization. And in a set of remarkable narratives, consumers describe dealing with both mental illness and the tasks of running a non-profit organization, for a fuller understanding of the impact of CRO participation on their lives."

There are three leading players from seven existing primary players: the consumers, artist creators, and the music label that play significant roles in digital music transformation. Digital music transformation can lessen the ‘barrier to entry’ in this industry. It transforms the business from a traditional shop-centric to a new customer-centric model.
Unfortunately, the worrying thing for everyone in the industry, which is piracy, does still exist. It makes the music companies doubt the new technological development. On the other hand, the new digital music services, such as Spotify, have risen and dominated.
It may seem that the old conventional record labels are obsolete. However, in reality, they still dominate the top ten charts. The successful supporting factor is that they have started having solid and good teams to manage, support, and produce good musicians and songs different from the new indie comers.
The latest music offering has not been able to find a well-integrated solution to meet the needs of the three pillars: the creators, users or customers, and the music labels. Furthermore, by seeing this condition, this research tries to propose the best solutions for all, by creating a new modified digital marketplace using physical traits that can incorporate all needs. Combining all the things should make people value more on the new platform as a good offering and deter piracy.
This research uses the mixed methods and the Design Science Research framework. The purpose is to build the proposed new design and provide some evidences about digital music piracy that will lead to a suitable prototype design for the new digital music solution. The research also uses the Status Quo Bias (SQB) theory, which evaluates the output and the Kano selection model to create the input filter for the prototyping requirement. The research result shows that the DSR Framework could propose and evaluate excellent digital music service, in conjunction with the Kano model and SQB Theory. The research result, evaluation, and feedback show users like the proposed model compared to the current solution and ongoing piracy.
