"This paper is the result of the rain attenuation research, especially the results of ARIMA modeling of tropical rain attenuation in thr design of 28 GHZ millimeter wave communication system. Data acquasition is done on the link distance of 56.4 meters on Electrical campus ITS Surabaya. Data acquisition was recorded using the device every 1 second. The data obtained are processed using an ARIMA (p,d,q) model. The process aims to obtain a time series model. Validation process in done by comparing the ARIMA model result with measurements and attenuation model of ITU - R P.838-3. From 6 events that obtained in February 2009 concluded that all events can be approached by ARIMA (0,1,1) model. ARIMA (0,1,1) model can be used to generate rain attenuation data."

"ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk ; (1) untuk mengetahui kemampuan dalam menulis surat pribadi (Persönlicher Brief) mahasiswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD, (2) untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa pada materi menulis surat pribadi (Persönlicher Brief), (3) untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan motivasi belajar dalam mempengaruhi hasil belajar bahasa Jerman mahasiswa pada materi menulis surat pribadi (Persönlicher Brief). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa semester 2 (dua) yang terdiri dari satu kelas dengan jumlah mahasiswa 10 orang. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan teknik total sampling (sampel total). Maka sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan populasi yang ada.Penemuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil Pre Test diperoleh nilai terendah 55 dan nilai tertinggi 75, rata-rata skor adalah 64,5. Sedangkan pada hasil Post Test yang telah diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran koperatif tipe STAD diperoleh nilai terendah 70 dan nilai tertinggi 90, rata-rata skor adalah 81,5. Pada kelompok mahasiswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi diperoleh hasil nilai terendah 75 dan nilai tertinggi 90, rata-rata skor adalah 82,86. Sedangkan pada kelompok mahasiswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar rendah diperoleh skor hasil belajar terendah 70 dan tertinggi 85, serta skor rata-rata 78,33.Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan tersebut dapat dilihat bahwa harga F hitung ( ) = 2,99 dengan taraf kepercayaan (α) sebesar 0,05 dengan dk = 1ISSN 0853 - 0203VISI (2017) 25(3) 3261-32873261adalah ( ) = 2,89, sehingga dapat dinyatakan (2,99) > (2,89). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan pernyataan hipotesis penelitian yang menyatakan terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran koperatif tipe STAD dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil menulis surat pribadi (Persönlicher Brief) telah teruji kebenarannya pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05."

"ABSTRAKWhen a large dimension of rock needed for an armored layer of breakwater, the scarcity of it became a major adversity, because of that many research subject of using concrete as a substitute for rock performed. One of the research are the usage of concrete block for submerged breakwater as a method for avoiding a very large concrete block, but still able to withstood wave forces. The key is in the interlocking of each concrete block so it could achieve the desired result with a lesser dimension concrete block. The research was performed in Laboratory of Coastal Experimental Station, Water Resource Research Center, using a 2D channel. The facility used were flume channel, regular wave generator machine, wave dumper, wave probe, and computer for processing data. The experiment indicate that the wave energy attenuation depends on the dimension of interlocking concrete block type submerged breakwater. The dimension represented in the form of relation of the distance of water level to structures crest and the crests width. The breakwater performance of the concrete block is quite useful as an underwater coastal protection building viewed from reflection with a reflection coefficient of 34.7% at (h?d) / h = 0 and the peak width of B = 2.0"

"Triglyceride hydrolysis using lipase has been proposed as a novel method to produce raw materials in food and cosmetic industries such as diacylglycerol, monoacylglycerol, glycerol and fatty acid. In order to design a reactor for utilizing this reaction on industrial scale, constructing a kinetic model is important. Since the substrates are oil and water, the hydrolysis takes place at oil-water interface. Furthermore, the triglyceride has three ester bonds, so that the hydrolysis stepwise proceeds. Thus, the reaction mechanism is very complicated. The difference between the interfacial and bulk concentrations of the enzyme, substrates and products, and the interfacial enzymatic reaction mechanism should be considered in the model."
