The tourism industry is one of the largest foreign exchange earners in Indonesia. Kemenparekraf encourages the rise of Indonesian tourism by directing tourism virtually. Virtual tourism aims to remove existing limitations in tourism activities, as well as act as a means of reducing the detrimental consequences of tourism. This study aims to determine and explain the motivational factors for the use of interactive panorama-based virtual tourism, especially virtual museums that affect the image of tourist destinations and encourage the intention to visit original tourist destinations in Indonesia. The factors used are Content quality, System quality, Vividness, Perceived Immersion, Perceived Enjoyment, and Perceived Autonomy. Meanwhile, to form the image of a tourist destination, cognitive image, affective image, and conative image are used as a form of intention to behave in the future. This study uses a quantitative approach with a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Data collection was carried out online using a research survey which can be accessed through the UI Survey. The data collected was 669 with valid data of 402. Processing and data analysis using the Covariance Based-Structural Equation Modeling (CB-SEM) method. The results of this study indicate that Content quality, System quality, Vividness, Perceived Enjoyment, and Perceived Autonomy significantly influence the formation of cognitive image, whereas only Perceived Autonomy has a significant effect on affective image. Both affective image and cognitive image encourage tourists' intention to take action in the future (conative image). In this study, content quality was the most influential factor on cognitive image, and cognitive image itself had a stronger relationship with conative image. This study deepens VDI-related research, especially for case studies of virtual museums and fills in the gaps between the antecedents of the use of virtual tourism to VDI."

Goldstein, Steven M.
"Relations between Taiwan and the People's Republic of China have oscillated between outright hostility and wary detente ever since the Archipelago seceded from the Communist mainland over six decades ago. While the mainland has long coveted the island, Taiwan has resisted - aided by the United States which continues to play a decisive role in cross-strait relations today. In this comprehensive analysis, noted China specialist Steven Goldstein shows that although relations between Taiwan and its larger neighbor have softened, underlying tensions remain unresolved. These embers of conflict could burst into flames at any point, engulfing the whole region and potentially dragging the United States into a dangerous confrontation with the PRC Guiding readers expertly through the historical background to the complexities of this fragile peace, Goldstein discusses the shifting economic, political and security terrain, and examines the pivotal role played by the United States in providing weapons and diplomatic support to Taiwan whilst managing a complex relationship with an increasingly powerful China. Drawing on a wealth of newly declassified material, this compelling and insightful book is an invaluable guide to one of the world's riskiest, long-running conflicts.
