Petrie, W.M. Flinders
"A pioneering Egyptologist, Sir William Matthew Flinders Petrie (1853–1942) excavated over fifty sites and trained a generation of archaeologists. In this short but classic work of 1904, he explains his vision for the young science of archaeology. Petrie outlines his processes and goals for an excavation, offering advice on how to manage workers drawn from the local population as well as guidance on creating a thorough record of a dig, the importance of which had not been fully appreciated by many contemporary archaeologists. His methods were highly influential in their more systematic and scientific approach to archaeology at a time when many of its practitioners were more focused on acquiring attractive artefacts than advancing knowledge. The text is accompanied by 66 illustrations. Petrie wrote prolifically throughout his long career, and a great many of his other publications - for both specialists and non-specialists - are also reissued in this series."

"Tujuan Kedudukan etik dalam kurikulum fakultas kedokteran adalah sangat esensial tetapi metode pengajaran etika kedokteran tidak begitu banyak berubah. Kaidah dasar bioetika merupakan pengetahuan yang relevan untuk membangun pemikiran kritis mahasiswa tentang etika kedokteran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti efek pengaruh penambahan diskusi kelompok kecil pada metode kuliah konvensional terhadap tingkat pengetahuan dan retensi dari materi kaidah dasar bioetika. Penelitian ini merupakan uji kasus-kontrol, acak, dengan desain paralel. Tes Kaidah Dasar Bioetika digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat kognitif dan retensi dari pengetahuan kaidah dasar bioetika. Kelompok kontrol akan diberikan kuliah secara konvensional, sedangkan kelompok intervensi selain kuliah akan dilanjutkan dengan diskusi kelompok kecil. Hasil Kuliah umum konvensional, dengan atau tanpa penambahan diskusi kelompok kecil dapat meningkatkan tingkat pengetahuan dan retensi tentang kaidah dasar bioetika (masing-masing P= 0.001 and P= 0.000). Terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna antara tingkat pengetahuan dan tingkat retensi antara kelompok kontrol dengan kelompok intervensi (P= 0.000, P= 0.000, masing-masing). Simpulan Metode pengajaran dengan tambahan diskusi kelompok kecil lebih baik daripada metode kuliah konvensional dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan retensi kaidah dasar bioetika.

Abstract
Aim Body mass index (BMI) at 5th-84th percentiles according to the BMI-for-age charts from Center for Diseases Control and Prevention (CDC) is considered as normal BMI for children and adolescents. However, Guo et al found that BMI at 75th-84th percentiles already had a possibility to be adult overweight and obese. This study aimed to determine anthropometric measurements, laboratory findings, and health risk differences to find an ideal BMI group according to the BMI charts. Methods Normal BMI according to adult classification from the World Health Organization (BMI at 18.5-24.9) is used as a reference group. Results & Conclusion Our study showed BMI value at 50th-74th percentiles in boys and at 75th-84th percentiles in girls had higher anthropometric measurements and laboratory findings than the reference group. However, the health risks of those BMI percentiles did not significant different compared with the reference group. "

"Indonesia akan mengalami bonus demografi pada tahun 2045. Salah satu faktor yang harus dipenuhi Indonesia untuk menikmati bonus demografi adalah sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas dan penyerapan sumber daya manusia tersebut. Sayangnya, kualitas sumber daya manusia dan penyerapannya ke pasar tenaga kerja masih kurang baik. Angka pengangguran mengalami tren kenaikan setiap tahunnya. Menganalisis keahlian kerja yang dimiliki oleh sumber daya manusia adalah langkah menuju pengembangan sistem pendidikan dan karir untuk masa yang akan datang.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kesenjangan keahlian yang terjadi di kalangan lulusan sarjana teknik industri saat pertama kali mendapatkan pekerjaan, serta melihat hubungan antara variabel keahlian kerja dalam membentuk employability confidence. Penelitian dilakukan berdasarkan teori keahlian kerja dan employability confidence serta pengolahan data dilakukan dengan metode Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Penelitian menggunakan data primer melalui kuesioner online. Total terdapat 121 responden dari lulusan sarjana teknik industri yang sudah memiliki pekerjaan tetap dengan total pengalaman 6-24 bulan. Dari penelitian diketahui beberapa hal, diantaranya seberapa besar kesenjangan keahlian yang terjadi dan variabel-variabel keahlian kerja apa saja yang berpengaruh terhadap employability confidence

Indonesia will gain a demographic bonus in 2045. One of the factors that must be acquired by Indonesia to gain the benefits of demographic bonus is great quality in human resources and absorption of these human resources. Unfortunately, the quality of human resources and their absorption into the labor market is under standard. The unemployment rate is experiencing an increasing trend each year. Analyzing the work skills possessed by human resources is a step towards developing the education and career system for the future. This study aims to look at the skills gaps that occur among industrial engineering graduates when they got their first employment and see the relationship between skill variables that created the employability confidence. The research was conducted based on the theory of employability skills and employability confidence and data processing was carried out using the Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. This study uses primary data through an online questionnaire. A total of 121 respondents from industrial engineering graduates who already have permanent employment with a total experience of 6-24 months. From the research, it is known several things such as how big the skills gap that occurs and what employability skills variables that affect the employability confidence"

"Berkembangnya teknologi menyebabkan banyak perubahan, terutama di masa pandemi saat ini dimana berdampak pada dunia industri. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan tenaga kerja yang memiliki adaptabilitas karier yang baik. Individu yang memiliki adaptabilitas karier diprediksi memiliki kualitas pekerjaan yang baik sehingga dapat menghadapi berbagai tantangan karier. Employability skills dan self-esteem dianggap penting dalam memengaruhi adaptabilitas karier. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran self-esteem sebagai moderator pengaruh employability skills terhadap adaptabilitas karier. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 703 siswa SMK (usia 14-23 tahun). Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Career Adapt-Abilities Scale (= 0,936), Student Employability skills Questionnaire (= 0,939), dan Rosenberg’s Self Esteem Scale (= 0,736) yang telah diadaptasi ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self-esteem tidak memoderasi pengaruh employabilty skill terhadap adaptabilitas karier. Dengan kata lain, harga diri tidak memperkuat atau memperlemah pengaruh keterampilan dasar kerja individu terhadap adaptabilitas karier

The evolution of technology give rise to a lot of change, moreover in this time of pandemic which influenced the industry. Therefore manpower who has an outstanding career adaptability is needed. Individual who has an outstanding career adaptability predicted to have an outstanding work as well, hence could accomplished various career challenges. Employability skills and self-esteem considered important in influencing career adabtability. This study aims to study the effect of employability skills on career adaptability with the moderating role of self-esteem. The study was conducted on 703 vocational students (range of age 14-23 years old). Career Adapt-Abilities Scale (= 0,936), Student Employability skills Questionnaire (= 0,939), and Rosenberg’s Self Esteem Scale (= 0,736), which already translated into Bahasa used to measured this study. The result shown that self-esteem was not moderating the effect of employability skills on career adaptability. In another words, self-esteem was not strengthen or weaken the effect of basic individual work skills on career adaptability"

"Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis perbandingan persepsi atas manfaat metode Student Centered Learning (SCL) terhadap pengembangan soft skills mahasiswa akuntansi. Soft skills mahasiswa akuntansi diukur dengan penilaian (persepsi) mahasiswa akuntansi terhadap manfaat soft skills yang diperoleh melalui metode SCL, yaitu melalui metode Collaborative Learning (CL), Case Based Learning (CBL), dan Project Based Learning (PjBL). Pengujian perbandingan manfaat metode SCL dilakukan menggunakan One Way ANOVA. Secara keseluruhan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode SCL memberikan manfaat pengembangan soft skills pada mahasiswa akuntansi dimana metode PjBL unggul dibandingkan metode CL dan metode CBL.

The purpose of this research is to see the comparison of perceptions on the benefits of Student Centered Learning (SCL) methods to accounting students‟ soft skills development. Accounting students‟ soft skills are measured by accounting students‟ assessment (perception) to soft skills benefits that were acquired through SCL methods, such as Collaborative Learning (CL), Case Based Learning (CBL), and Project Based Learning (PjBL). Comparison testing of the benefits of SCL methods is using One Way ANOVA. Overall results reveal that SCL methods facilitate the development of accounting students‟ soft skills and PjBL method was superior than CL method and CBL method."
