"Paper ini mendeskripsikan sistem pengenalan entitas bernama padateks berbahasa Indonesia yang disebut dengan InNER (Indonesian Named Entiry Recognizer). InNER dikembangkan dengan pendekatan knowledge engineering dengan membangun aturan-aturan (rules) berdasarkan informasi kontekstual, leksikal dan morfologi. Aturan dibuat dari hasil observasi pola entitas bernama yang muncul pada teks dokumen. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa sistem InNER memberikan recall sebesar 63.43% dan precision sebesar 71.84%"

"Berbagai jenis kendaraan telah diciptakan saat ini, mulai dari yang hanyaberoda satu sampai beroda puluhan. Kendaraan-kendaraan tersebut diciptakantentunya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tertentu. Salah satu jenis kendaraan yangcukup banyak digunakan saat ini adalah kendaraan dengan tiga roda, mulai daribajaj, bemo, kancil, sampai yang belakangan ini mulai banyak digunakan sebagaikendaraan pengangkut adalah motor cina dengan bak pengangkut di belakangnya.Dengan adanya tugas akhir ini, kami mencoba membuat kendaraan rodatiga yang sesederhana mungkin, lebih mudah dalam proses pabrikasinya, dan diberinama MTV (Multi-Terrain Vehicle). Namun, tanpa mengurangi segifungsionalitasnya. Dengan dasar inilah, konsep kendaraan ini adalah kendaraanroda tiga dengan berbasis sepeda motor, murah, komponen yang digunakan mudahdicari di pasaran, user-friendly. Sehingga dihasilkan, suatu kendaraan yangberspesifikasi hampir seperti sepeda motor beroda dua.Secara garis besar, proses yang dilakukan untuk pembuatan kendaraan iniialah dengan terlebih dahulu mengumpulkan komponen-komponen sepeda motoryang akan dirakit, lalu membuat desain kendaraan roda tiga berdasarkan dimensidari komponen yang akan digunakan, dan terakhir adalah proses pembuatannyaDengan tahapan proses inilah, MTV dapat diciptakan dengan proses pabrikasi yangsederhana dan selain itu, desain poros belakang yang digunakan adalah jenisrigid-rear shaft tanpa differential gear. Poros jenis ini lebih mudah dan murahdalam proses pengerjaannya. Namun, kekurangan desain ini adalah berkurangnyastabilitas kendaraan saat berbelok akibat adanya slip antara roda kanan dan kiri."

"Dengan kemajuan perangkat lunak sekarang ini serta diperkenalkannya ilmu pengetahuan Artificial Intellegent sejak tahun 50-an dan khususnya teknologi Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan sebagai salah satu perangkat lunak Intellegent Quotient yang dapat digunakan sebagai mesin penghitung. Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan (JST) mampu memecahkan permasalahan yang sulit dipecahkan dengan persamaan matematis biasa dalam waktu yang relatif cepat. Hasil perhitungan dari JST dapat dipakai sebagai Output perhitungan. Sistem JST merupakan salah satu teknik yang dikembangkan untuk sistem kecerdasan buatan dengan cara meniru cara kerja Jaringan syaraf biologis pada mahkluk hidup. Masukan untuk Jaringan syaraf biologis adalah penerimaan respon sedangkan keluarannya adalah tanggapan, dimana hubungan antara Input dengan Output-nya memiliki hubungan yang sulit dijabarkan serta dapat memberikan tanggapan yang benar terhadap Input yang tidak dikenal ( Model Free Estimator). JST dapat menghasilkan Output yang diharapkan, karena JST ini dilatih (training) dan diajar (learning). Proses pelatihan dan pengajaran JST ini dengan cara memberikan suatu bobot (weight) pada Input secara random, kemudian bobot ini diubah-ubah dengan aturan dan sejumlah iterasi tertentu sampai didapatkan hasil yang diharapkan. JST ini akan digunakan untuk pemodelan UV Lamp 1 filter, UV Lamp 2 filter dan Water Softener filter pada Sistem Pembuatan Air Steril ( Demineralized Water Process System ). Dalam Tugas Akhir ini dilakukan pembuatan JST yang berbasis pada Jaringan Backpropagation dan mencoba membandingkan beberapa Jaringan yang bisa dibuat dari parameter - parameter yang diukur dalam DI Water System untuk dicari pemodelan Jaringan terbaik untuk dijadikan sebagai sistem pemodelan Jaringan terbaik untuk DI Water System."
