"Nominasi Warisan Dunia UNESCO dilakukan oleh negara penyelenggara dengan menyampaikan dossier yang diperlengkapi peta geografis dari properti yang hendak diusulkan. Peta seperti ini terletak di dalam kontinuum Peta Propaganda hingga Peta Sempurna dan lebih mendekati ujung Peta Sempurna. Menggunakan pendekatan hermeneutik Pickles, skripsi ini memahami Peta Sub-Area B Kraton dari dossier Hisotrical Landmarks Along the Cosmological Axis of the Yogyakarta City. Kartografi yang dihasilkan menunjukkan peta tersebut terletak lebih dekat ke ujung Peta Propaganda daripada ujung Peta Sempurna, dan elaborasi kartografi dengan mengubah kode peta dapat menggeser posisi peta ini mendekat ke ujung Peta Sempurna.

A nomination of UNESCO World Heritage is conducted by a State-party through the submission of a dossier that includes map(s) of the nominated property. Maps of this kind are placed within the Propaganda-Perfect Map continuum. Using Pickles’ hermeneutics approach, this undergraduate thesis reads the Sub-Area B Kraton map of the Historical Landmark Along the Cosmological Axis of the Yogyakarta City dossier. The resulting cartography revealed that the map’s position is closer to the Propaganda extreme than to the Perfect extreme on the continuum, and an elaboration of the cartography by changing the map’s code can move this position of the map closer to the Perfect Map extreme"

"Sertifikasi Indikasi Geografis merupakan sertifikasi yang mempunyai tujuan untuk memberikan perlindungan hukum terhadap nama daerah asal terhadap suatu produk. Pada penelitian ini, Indikasi Geografis yang dikaji adalah Indikasi Geografis Kopi Robusta Temanggung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh sertifikasi Indikasi Geografis terhadap rantai nilai kopi robusta dan bagaimana pola rantai nilai yang terbentuk dari penerapan sertifikasi tersebut di lokasi berbeda, yaitu Kecamatan Kandangan, Bejen, dan Gemawang. Metode yang dipakai adalah metode kualitatif dengan analasis komparasi spasial dan deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran dari setiap institusi sosial yang berkaitan dengan sertifikasi Indikasi Geografis berbeda-beda dan memiliki pola hubungan kerja sama dimulai dari pemerintah kemudian dilanjutkan kepada institusi sosial yang bekerja sama untuk mengajukan sertifikasi Indikasi Geografis Kopi Robusta Temanggung. Pengaruh sertifikasi Indikasi Geografis tidak berdampak pada simpul distribusi rantai nilai, tetapi menimbulkan peningkatan kualitas produk kopi dan pertambahan pasar yang dipengaruhi SOP dari MPIG.

Geographical Indication Certification is certification that have purpose for give law protection to place origin’s name of product. In this research, Geographical Indication is Temanggung Robusta Coffee. The purpose of this research is analize the impact of Geographical Indication to Robusta Coffee value chain and how the pattern of value chain formed from application of that certification in diferrent places, there are Kandangan District, Bejen, and Gemawang. Method of this research is qualitative method with spatial comparative analize and descriptive. The result of this research show that function of each social institution that work together for initiate the Geographical Indication certification of Temanggung Robusta Coffee. The impact of Geographical Indication is not impact the adding of the value chain distribution, but increase the quality of the coffee product and impact market adding from basic standard of MPIG."

"Indikasi Geografis merupakan salah satu bentuk Hak Kekayaan Intelektual yang wajib dilindungi. Dalam Undang-Undang Merek yaitu Undang-Undang Nomor 15 Tahun 2001 dan Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 51 Tahun 2007 tentang Indikasi Geografis telah dijelaskan secara garis besar perlindungan hukum Indikasi Geografis dapat diberikan apabila pendaftarannya telah dilakukan. Maksud pendaftaran Indikasi Geografis adalah untuk menjamin kepastian hukum. Jangka waktu perlindungan dapat berlangsung secara tidak terbatas selama ciri dan/atau kualitas yang menjadi dasar diberikan perlindungan masih ada. Indonesia yang sebagai suatu negara kepulauan sangat terkenal akan hasil kekayaan alamnya. Salah satu hasil kekayaan alam yang terkenal adalah Kopi Arabika Kintamani yang berasal dari Kabupaten Bangli, Propinsi Bali. Perlindungan Indikasi Geografis terhadap Kopi Arabika Kintamani tersebut sangatlah diperlukan, karena sumber perekonomian penduduk setempat adalah berasal dari penjualan kopi tersebut. Sehingga apabila perlindungan Indikasi Geografis tersebut dapat terlaksana dengan baik, maka dampak positif yang diperoleh masyarakat setempat sangat banyak terutama dari bidang perekonomian.

Geographical Indication is a form of Intellectual Property Rights that has to be protected. Trade Mark Act Number 15 of 2001 and Government Regulation Number 51 of 2007 concerning Geographical Indication has stipulated the general legal protection in which Geographical Indication protection could be given if its registration has been done. Geographical indication registration purpose is to ensure legal certainty. Duration of protection may last indefinitely as long as traits and / or quality as the basis of the protection is still there. Indonesia as an archipelagic State which is very famous for its natural resources. One of its natural resources is the famous Arabica Coffee from Kintamani Bangli District, Bali Province. Protection of Geographical Indications of Kintamani Arabica Coffee is very necessary, because the source of the local society's income is derived from the sale of coffee. Hence if the protection of Geographical Indications can be well accomplished, the local society would get many benefits especially in the economic field."
