Penelitian ini menyelidiki pengaruh penggunaan jasa koperasi dan keberadaan Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil (BMT) terhadap kesejahteraan rumah tangga di Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan data Indonesian Family Life Survey Wave 5 (2014) penelitian ini mengeksplorasi hubungan antara penggunaan layanan koperasi, keberadaan BMT, dan efek gabungan mereka terhadap peningkatan kesejahteraan ekonomi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa baik koperasi maupun BMT secara signifikan berkontribusi pada peningkatan kesejahteraan rumah tangga yang di ukur melalui tingkat pengeluaran perkapita. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa kedua institusi ini sangatlah penting untuk pembangunan ekonomi dan pengentasan kemiskinan di Indonesia.

This study investigates the impact of using cooperative services and the presence  of Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil (BMT) on household welfare in Indonesia. Using data from the Indonesian Family Life Survey Wave 5 (2014), the research explores the relationship between the use of cooperative services, the presence of BMT, and their combined effect on improving economic well-being. The results of the study show that both cooperatives and BMT significantly contribute to increasing household welfare, measured by per capita expenditure levels. The study concludes that these two institutions are crucial for economic development and poverty alleviation in Indonesia.
