Kelahiran merupakan suatu kondisi yang terjadi pada manusia setelah melalui proses hamil, perkembangan dan pertumbuhan janin di dalam kandungan ibu yang dapat menimbulkan perubahan secara signifikan baik pada ibu maupun pada bayi. Kelahoran yang dilakukan baik secara Sectio Caesarea (SC) ataupun normal. Kelahiran yang dilakukan secara SC dapat berpotensi menghambat proses bonding yang dilakukan oleh Ibu dan bayinya. Akan tetapi bonding tetap dapat dilakukan dengan ayah bayi. Salah satu intervensi yang dapat diberikan adalah Skin to Skin Contact Ayah-Bayi. Melalui karya ilmiah ini, telah dilaporkan hasil pelaksanaan asuhan keperawatan pada ayah ibu post partum. Metode yang digunakan adalah Case study pada suami denga ibu post partum yang melahirkan secara SC dengan status obstetrik G1P1A0 dengan usia kehamilan 41 minggu. Intervensi dilakukan selama dua hari berturut-turut pada tiga hari pertama post partum dan dievaluasi menggunakan Attachment between parents and newborn children pada Ayah dan pengukuran tanda-tanda vital pada bayi yang meliputi; suhu, saturasi dan nadi. Hasil Intervensi menunjukkan adanya peningktan skor kelekatan dari 66 menjadi 89, pada bayi hasil pengukuran tanda vital meningkat. Oleh karena itu, penulis merekomendasikan penerapan skin to skin contact ayah bayi untuk meningkatkan kelekatan antara orang tua dan bayi.

Birth is a condition that occurs in humans after going through the process of pregnancy, development and growth of the fetus in the mother's womb which can cause significant changes in both the mother and the baby. Births are carried out either by Sectio Caesarea (SC) or normally. SC births can potentially hinder the bonding process carried out by the mother and her baby. However, bonding can still be done with the baby's father. One of the interventions that can be given is Father-Baby Skin to Skin Contact. Through this scientific work, it has been reported the results of implementing nursing care for post partum mothers and fathers. The method used was a case study of husbands and post partum mothers who gave birth via SC with G1P1A0 obstetrical status at 41 weeks' gestation. The intervention was carried out for two consecutive days on the first three days postpartum and was evaluated using Attachment between parents and newborn children for fathers and measurements of vital signs for babies which included; temperature, saturation and pulse. Intervention results showed an increase in the attachment score from 66 to 89, in infants the results of measuring vital signs increased. Therefore, the authors recommend applying skin to skin contact with the baby's father to increase the attachment between parents and babies.
