Indonesia dapat dikatakan sebagai negara yang kaya akan keragaman suku, agama, ras, dan budaya. Keragaman demikian salah satunya mendorong penerapan budaya kolektivisme di mana tercermin melalui semangat gotong royong. Selain itu, Indonesia turut dipandang sebagai negara beragama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara religiusitas dan kolektivisme pada emerging adulthood. Studi kuantitatif korelasional dilaksanakan terhadap sebanyak 241 partisipan yang merupakan Warga Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia, berusia 18-25 tahun, minimal telah menempuh pendidikan SMA/SMK sederajat, serta penganut salah satu dari enam agama yang sah di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa religiusitas dan kolektivisme memiliki hubungan positif yang signifikan pada emerging adulthood. Individu dapat membangun religiusitas sebagai sarana memupuk budaya gotong royong dan mengeksplorasi identitas melalui penerapan budaya kolektivisme.
Indonesia is a counry rich in ethnic, religious, racial and cultural diversity. Such diveristy encourages the application of a culture of collectivism, which is reflected through the spirit of gotong royong. In addition, Indonesia is also seen as a religios country. This study aims to examine the relationship between religiosity and collectivism in emerging adulthood. A quantitative correlation study was conducted on 241 participants who were citizens of the Republic of Indonesia, aged 18 – 25 years, had at least a high school education, and adhered to one of the six legal religions in Indonesia. The results showed that religiosity and collectivism have a significant positive relationship in emerging adulthood. Individuals can build religiosity as a means of fostering a culture of gotong royong and exploring identity through the application of a culture of collectivism.
