Nurses' behavior regarding proper self-care behavior is needed to prevent complications due to the installation of a permanent pacemaker. It should always be done in helping patients adapt to a permanent pacemaker. However, this is still not optimal. Therefore, this study aims to identify the factors that influence nurses' behavior about self-care behavior in patients with permanent pacemaker attached. This research was conducted on 131 nurses at Harapan Kita Heart and Blood Vessel Hospital Jakarta using a cross-sectional design, purposive sampling technique, chi square test analysis and multiple logistic regression. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between knowledge of permanent pacemaker care with nurses' behavior about self-care behavior in patients with permanent pacemaker installed (p-value = 0,000; α = 0.05; OR = 20.63). Knowledge about permanent pacemaker care needs to be done regularly to improve nurse behavior related to self-care behavior in patients with permanent pacemaker.
