AbstrakThis study is to analyze whether there has any influence or not through the technique of language game into the students speaking skill in the State Polytechnic Medan. The population of this research is 28 students of program study Diploma III Civil Engineering Academic Year of 2016/ 2017. The technique of language game is one of the method language method language learnings which introduce to fun, creative, effective, and students engaged behaviour into the material of studying. The method of this experimental research is conducted pre-test in the first action, then implemented the treatment of the technique of language games, and carried out the post-test as the final action. The result has been found that the total score of students speaking skill post test is 1925 with the average score of the test is 68,75 which is regarded as C level categories of speaking skills
