ABSTRAKKurangnya stimulasi akan berdampak pada keterlambatan perkembangan balita.
Keluarga memegang peranan penting dalam memberikan stimulasi sedini
mungkin agar mental, emosional, sosial dan kemandirian balita berkembang
secara optimal. Penelitian ini dirancang untuk mengidentifikasi arti dan makna dari
pengalaman keluarga dalam menstimulasi perkembangan balita. Desain penelitian yang
digunakan adalah fenomenologi deskriptif, menggunakan kriteria sampling purposive,
saturasi pada partisipan keenam. Analisa data menggunakan metode Collaizi.
Penelitian menghasilkan enam tema yaitu metode stimulasi, waktu stimulasi, sumber
peran dalam menstimulasi, perasaan dalam proses stimulasi, masalah pada sifat balita dan
anak lebih baik dari orangtua. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan
kemampuan stimulasi perkembangan balita oleh keluarga
ABSTRACTThe lack of stimulation will have an impact on the delay in development of
toddlers. Family plays an important role in providing stimulation as early as
possible so that mental, emotional, social and survival skills of toddlers would
develop optimally. This study was designed to identify the meaning and
significance of the family experience in stimulating the development of toddlers.
The research method used was descriptive phenomenological approach, using
purposeful or purposive sampling criteria of six participants. Data analysis used
Collaizi methods. The results produced six themes namely the method of
stimulation, stimulation time, resources role in stimulating, feeling the stimulation
process, the nature of the problem in toddlers and children better than their
parents. The results are expected to improve the ability of the family in
stimulating the development of their toddlers.
