Pelaksanaan birokrasi yang handal, profesional, efektif, produktif dalam memberikan pelayanan yang prima kepada masyarakat merupakan salah satu tujuan dari pelaksanaan good governance pada pemerintah daerah, khususnya pada Pemerintah Kabupaten Bogor. Untuk tercapainya tujuan tersebut, perlu dikembangkan sistem manajemen dan proses kerja yang menggunakan dan mendayagunakan layanan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) yang tepat. Infrastruktur teknologi informasi merupakan sebuah pondasi yang akan menopang seluruh sistem informasi yang akan memberikan layanan-layanan TI bagi organisasi, sehingga diperlukan sebuah perencanaan infrastruktur yang bersifat adaptif. TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) merupakan kerangka kerja yang akan digunakan sebagai acuan dalam perancangan infrastruktur teknologi informasi di Pemerintah Kabupaten Bogor.

The implementation of bureaucracy which are reliable, professional, effective, productive in providing excellent service to the community is one of the goals of good governance implementation in local government, especially in Bogor Regency Government. To achieve these objectives, it needs to develop management systems and work processes which using appropriate services of information and communication technology (ICT).

Information technology infrastructure is a foundation that will sustain the entire information system that will provide IT services to the oeganization, so it requires an adaptive infrastructure planning. TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) is a framework that will be used as a reference in designing the information technology infrastructure in Bogor Regency Government.
