Skripsi ini menganalisis perbandingan cerita teks Hikayat Nabi Bala Bulan (HNBB) dengan teks Hikayat Bulan Berbelah (HBB). Tujuannya adalah menyajikan suntingan teks naskah HBB untuk para pembaca dan menunjukkan perbedaan cerita antara teks HNBB dan HBB. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh suntingan teks dan perbedaanperbedaan cerita antara teks HNBB dengan teks HBB. Kesimpulan dari analisis tersebut adalah perbedaan cerita yang muncul antara teks HNBB dengan teks HBB.

This thesis analyzed the comparative story between text Hikayat Nabi Bala Bulan (HNBB) with text Hikayat Bulan Berbelah (HBB). The purpose is to present the edited text of HBB for the readers, and to show the differences between text HNBB and HBB. This research resulted the edited text and the differences in story between both texts. The analysis concluded the difference in story between two texts that appeared in HNBB and HBB.
